Wrecking Ball is a playable character in the Skylanders series. In the series he a part of the Magic Element.

Biography

Wrecking Ball was once a tiny grub worm about to become the main ingredient in an old wizard's cauldron of magic stew. But when he was dropped in, the wizard was shocked to see the little grub devour all of the soup and emerge from the cauldron 20 times larger and with a long, sticky tongue. The poor old wizard was even more surprised seconds later, when Wrecking Ball proceeded to swallow him whole. Eventually he ran, quite literally, into the powerful Portal Master Eon, who was intrigued by how he came to be and impressed with his unique abilities.

History

Skylanders

Wrecking Ball was one of the few Skylanders who protected the Core of Light from Kaos and his minions in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, however one of the minions destroyed the Core of Light and sent all of the Core Skylanders to Earth. This made the new Portal Masters to bring back to Skylands in hopes to rebuild the Core of Light and defeat Kaos as well as his minions.

In Skylanders: Giants, Wrecking Ball gains new abilities while helping the Giants.

Wrecking Ball appears in the now discontinued Skylanders: Universe, along with all of the other Skylanders from Spyro's Adventure and Giants, roaming Skylands and finding treasures.

In Skylanders: Cloud Patrol, Wrecking Ball along with all of the other Skylanders from Spyro's Adventures, Giants and SWAP-Foce are playable characters.

Wrecking Ball has a counterpart in Skylanders: Lost Islands, known as Buddy Wrecking Ball.

Wreking Ball made a cameo appearance in the comic Skylanders: Issue 1 Forgetting Flynn, where he was seen with other Skylanders helping Master Eon to fight against Kaos.

Wrecking Ball may also appear in Skylanders: SWAP-Force, Skylanders: Trap Team, Skylanders: superChargers, Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing and Skylanders: Imaginators, where he would help those various Skylander teams in their respected adventures.
