The Three Blind Archers are recurring characters in the Samurai Jack series.

History[]

Three Blind Archers Corrupted

The Archers' corrupted form.

The Three Blind Archers where warriors that fought their way to a magic well, only to be corrupted by it's magic and became it's next guardians. They world often fight against those how seek out the well.

In the episode Jack and the Three Blind Archers, the Archers where mentioned by a retired viking, leading to Samurai Jack to explore the island that they live on. At first they were able to make Jack flee, only for Jack to find a way to fight back and even freed the three warriors of their curse. The Archers later thanked Jack and told him that the well is free for his use, only to warn him later on that the well corrupted them and saw Jack destroy the well and left to go back to his quest.

The Three Blind Archers made a cameo in in the episode The Aku Infection, where Jack was focusing on the good deeds he did in Aku's Future so that he could rid himself of an infection.

The Three Blind Archers later found out that Aku was the one who corrupted the well and so went to fight against Aku's minions in hopes to help Samurai Jack in his quest.

The Three Blind Archers made a cameo in the comic Mako the Scribe, where they were a part of Samurai Jack's Rebellion, along with everyone else that Jack has helped. It is presumed that they went back to fighting Aku's minions after this comic.

The Three Blind Archers return in the Episode XCVII, where they saw Ashi who told them that she was looking for Samurai Jack, to help him. They showed her their village and a statue of the Samurai, only to have Ashi leave to keep looking for Jack.

The Three Blind Archers made their last appearance in Episode CI, where they saw a broadcasting of Aku with Jack as his prisoner. They later went with the other allies that Jack has made to fight against Aku.

It is unknown what happened to the Three Blind Archers after Aku's death in the past.

Trivia[]

  • Their name is a reference to the old nursery rhyme known as the Three Blind Mice.
  • Their appearance in Season Five have made fans consider that they are a part of an alien race.
