The Joneses are a group of playable characters in the video game Twisted Metal 4.
History[]
Origins[]
The Joneses, being Ralph Jones, Meg Jones, Mitch Jones and Tammy Jones, are a family of four that were believed to have been seen driving to previous Twisted Metal contests to see the explosions or so. Because of this, the family did later decide to join one of these Twisted Metal contests.
Twisted Metal 4[]
The Joneses only appeared in Twisted Metal 4, where they were driving in their Family Wagon to fight against the likes of Calypso, Captain Grimm, Conner Nazang, Dennis Flanders, Goggle Eyes, General Warthog, Micro Blast, Orbital, Rob Zombie, Trash Man and Zanita Corbett. A bit later, he would fight against the likes of Crusher, Moon Buggy, Super Thumper, RC Car, Super Axel, Super Slam and Super Auger, Minion and later Sweet Tooth himself. After winning the Twisted Metal contest hosted by Sweet Tooth, The Joneses wished for a Roadmaster 3000 trailer with Sweet Tooth as a summer driver. Though wen Sweet Tooth did drive them in the trailer, Sweet Tooth seemed to have gotten fed up with them singing and decided to drive the family off of a cliff. It is assumed they died because of this.

Trivia[]
- The Joneses are believed to be a parody of the Griswald's family from the National Lampoon's Vacation movie series.
- As far as likability and social skills goes, the Joneses are highly annoying, made evident by Melvin becoming very irritated of hearing their wish, and later in their ending (with Sweet Tooth as their driver), which ultimately got them killed. Furthermore, it might explain their frequent traveling.
