The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were once a group of reguler turtles who were bought by Hamato Yoshi, only to later fall into some goo known as the 'ooze' witch turned them into Leonardo, Raphael, Donattlo and Michelangelo. Although they were not named that until they were sent into the suwers and met Yoshi's old pet rat named Master Splinter, who taught them ninjitzu.
During the rightful age of fifteen, the turtles were given permision to head out to New York City, although only at night. They would often fight against criminals, although becoming a bit sloppy and so brought the Shredder and the Foot Clan to the city. This gave the Turtles more difficult battles. The turtles also met April O'Neil and Casey Jones, who allied themselves with often. At one point the turtles were driven to the point to downright murder the Shredder, possably due to the fact that he either took down Splinter of felt that he was too powerful to stay in New York City.
Other adventures of the Turtles inclue going to T.C.I.A., the creators of the ooze, only to find out that they were aliens known as the Utrom, or the Krang. It should also be noted that the turtles have encounters mystics in some of their adventures, some are allies and others are foes.

The four turtles have appeared in the Video Game Injustice 2, as DLC fighters.
Batman vs. the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles[]
The four main turtles appeared in the crossover Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, where the four turtles went to Gothem city in hopes to stop the Shredder in his plans with Ra'sa Gaul. They also fought against Batman and Robin, only to team up with the two and Batgirl to stop Batman's rouges gallery and the Foot Clan in their tracks.
Brawlhalla[]
The 1987 incarnation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, being Leonardo, Raphael, Donattlo and Michelangelo, went to join the fighters of Brawlhalla.
