The Team Fortress 2 Mercenaries are a group of playable characters in the Team Fortress series.

History

Team Fortress

The Team Fortress 2 Mercenaries were hired by both Redmond Mann and Blutarch Mann to fight in the Gravel wars. They are: Scout, Soldier, Pyro (offense classes), Demoman, Heavy, Engineer (defense classes), Medic, Sniper and Spy (support classes).

In the video Meet the Heavy, It showcased the Heavy and his gun, where he was in an interview and was later fighting against the Blu Team.

In the webcomic Blood Money, Merasmus asked the Team, mainly Soldier to help him for a theme park he made by fighting each other.

Poker Night: At the Inventory

Although only the Heavy appears in the poker game against Max from Sam & Max, Strongbad from Home Star Runner and Tyco from Penny Arcade. Heavy does mention his past life and some of the other classes. Soldier, Spy, Scout and the Demoman also make a cameo appearance as pictures on the cards.

Sonic & Saga All-Stars Racing Transformed

Three Members of the TF2 Mercenaries being; Heavy, Pyro and Spy went to race along with Sonic the Hedgehog and various characters in vehicles cased on their signature weapons.

Trivia

• It is theorized that the Team Fortress Mercenaries were cloned for the Gravel Wars.
• It has been stated that four of the mercerizes cannot read, these possibly being: Scout, Soldier both having below average intelligence, Pyro being a schizophrenic and Demoman being a drunk.
