Marcus Kane later known as Needles Kane and often refered to as Sweet Tooth is the mascot of the Twisted Metal series.
History[]
Twisted Metal[]
Marcus Kane was believed to have been a normal man until he snapped one day and decided to attack a number of people and later went under the name Needles Kane.
Needles Kane made his first appearance in the 1995 version of Twisted Metal, where he went to enter a demolishion derby-like contest in his vehicle known as Sweet Tooth, which he will occasionally call himself. After he won, he demanded that Calypso would bring him his best friend, being a lunch bag, only to later leave.
Needles Kane returned in Twisted Metal 2, where he went to enter another Twisted Metal contest. After he won, he wished to become an insect and entered an old woman's garden, where he would eat the other insects. It is believed that he returned back to normal some time after this.
While taking place in a diffrent timeline, Needles Kane also appeared in Twisted Metal III, where he entered another twisted metal touniment. After he won this time, Calypso may have gave him a with did not really ask for, leading to eat all the candy in the world and later went to a dentist.
Takin place in the same timeline as the last installment, in Twisted Metal 4, Sweet Tooth and Calypso were seen to be almost as old as the idea for cars or demolishion derbies. He also wished to be the star of Twisted Metal and over the years he decided to bring a bunch of Clowns over to take Calyso's powers and throuwn him out the window. After this, Sweet Tooth decided to invite Captain Grimm, General Warthog, Orbital, Conner Nazang, Calypso, Quatro, Goggle Eyes, Zanita Corbett, Micro Blast, a Trash Man, The Joneses, Dennis Flanders, Rob Zombie and an anonimus driver to enter his Twisted Metal tournament and would let Melvin to grant the wish to the winner of the contest.
While it was taking place in side Sweet Tooth's own head it is considered to be dubiously canon but Sweet Tooth himself appeared in Twisted Metal: Black, where after commiting mass murder, he was sent to Blackfield Asylum and was going through the death penalty. While going through the electric chair, a Preacher decided to curse Sweet Tooth, leading him to suvive the chair, but is in constant pain. A bit later, Calypso went to ask Sweet Tooth to join his contest in exchange for a way to cure himself from the curse. After destroying Warhawk, Sweet Tooth went to meet up with Calypso and asked him to drink an antidote, in exchange, he must not murder anyone ever again. Sweet Tooth did not like this and decided to murder Calypso and left.
This installment is also considered to be dubiously canon, Sweet Tooth also appeared in Twisted Metal: Small Brawl, where he entered an RC contest and after he won, he asked Billy Calypso to head over to an icecream truck and later drove the truck with Billy on frunt of the hood, while running away from the Police.
While taking place in the same timeline as the first two installments, in Twisted Metal: Head-On, Sweet Tooth once again entered another Twisted Metal contest. After he won, he wished that he became Calypso and Calypso became him. This wish may have not really happened. Another contestent named Marcus Kane wished for his nigthmares to be over and ended up becoming Sweet Tooth. A bit later Needles Kane and Marcus Kane went to meet each other intheir own head, leading the two to team up to drive either Dark Tooth or Tower Tooth.
In Twisted Metal: Lost, While taking place in Sweet Tooth's head again, he went to enter another Twisted Metal contest, this time he would also drive a new van called the Golden Tooth.
Sweet Tooth was also seen in the 2012 version of Twisted Metal, possibly taking place in another timeline. After a while of driving an icecream van, Marcus Kane snapped and he went to murder all but two members of his family, being Sophie Kane and Charlie Kane. After this, Sweet Tooth went to create a gang of Clowns and entered a Twisted Metal contest to look for Sophie. Even fighting against Mr. Grimm, his gang of Skulls, Dollface and her gang of Dolls. After he won, he gave his wish to Calypso, onlyfor him to end up in Sophie's coffin. Afterwards Charlie Kane went to dig up Needle's Kanes mask and decided to become the next Sweet Tooth.
Hot Shots Golf 2 Everybodies Golf 2[]
Sweet Tooth may have appeared in Hot Shots Golf 2, also known as Everybodies Golf 2, where he went to do a bit of golfing.
War of the Monsters[]
Sweet Tooth was seen in War of the Monsters, where he would fight against Monsters and the military.

Sweet Tooth was seen in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, where he went to enter a tournament. He would fight againstvarious characters, only to later face off against Kratos and then have a battle against Polygon Man and three of his Polygonal All-Stars. After this he went back to his icecream truck to enter another Twisted Metal contest. Sweet Tooth's Icecream truck was also seen in Blackrock Statium.

- Sweet Tooth was orignially a parady of Detective Comic's the Joker.
- Twisted Metal: Black has been said to take place in Sweet Tooth's mind. Many fans either viewed to mean this is just Sweet Tooth views on everything and places his belilefs on other drivers. Or it was all just a big illision that Sweet Tooth was going through.
- Sweet Tooth's story in said game is considered to be him just wanting him to stay as a mass murderer rather than becoming a better person.
