Spyro is one of the main protagonists in the Skylanders Academy cartoon.

Skylanders Academy[]
Spyro was first seen in the episode Skylanders Unit!, where he was seen hatched from an egg, only to take on three Greebles and was later taken in by Master Eon. After a few years have passed, Spyro scared Hugo with a Sheep. He later greeted Wind-Up, Trigger Happy and Flashwing to the academy. Eruptor later asked Spyro to rejoin him in the game of Sheepball, only for Stealth Elf to appear and through a sheep at him and later irritated Eruptor. Spyro and the rest of the Skylanders than went to class, when he went to class, he was scolded by Jet-Vac and later gave the rest of the class a pop quiz. After the quiz finished, Spyro went to visit Eon, where he went to show Spyro his test results and later showed him a vault of old teams of Skylanders. Eon tried to tell Spyro to take away his ego and try to think of others. Eruptor and Stealth Elf where woundering what happened to Spyro, only to find out that he made a celibration party for his and the others graduation. After the party, both Eruptor and Stealth Elf went to look for Spyro, only for Spyro to still be asleep on the rooftops and later sleeping on a flowerbed. Spyro finally woke up after setting the flowerbed on fire and acidentlly set off the water hoze, only to notice that the Skylander Games have already began, leading him to rush over. He made it just before Eon decided to call the games over and sent Spyro to fight against a pile of Robot Trolls and holograms. However, both Spyro and Hex, with her talking Skull failed the games. After the games finished, Stealth Elf went to check on Spyro, only to give him some advice and later left. Spyro later went to eat some pancakes, only to later decided to head to the graduation ceramony and try to support his friends. Spyro was later seen near a vendor, only to later hear from a Mabu that Kaos was attacking the Skylanders and so headed back to the ceramony. Spyro later went to speak with the frozen heroes and then went to confront both Kaos and Glumshanks, only to be defeated. Eon's through a psychic like, ordered Spyro to wake up from the spell Kaos put on him, leading him to escape his trap and went back to the academy. Spyro later went to fight Kaos once again, only to be defeated once again, but this time allowed the Skylanders and Eon to help him. Master Eon than went to ask if Spyro was okay, only for him to say that he was in a lot of pain and Eon later gave allowed Spyro to join the Skylanders.
