Specimen 8 is a recuuring antagonist seen in the indie video game known as Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion.
History[]
Spooky's Jumo Scare Mansion[]
Specimen 8 made his first appearance in Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion, where at one point entered the mansion, leading the scientists at GL Labs to make him one of the many Specimens to be encountered. Along with the Monster Deer that follows him.
After the Protagonist enters the forest and picks up an axe, they discover Specimen 8 in an old wooden part of the mansion after escaping an area that resembled a forest. Specimen 8 would later try to chase down the Protagonist with other Specimens, being 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.
Specimen 8 would once again chase down the Protagonist in Endless Mode with the other Specimens once again, along with the Unknown Specimens, being 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Also helping some Monsters, being 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. As well as some Dolls, being Woormy Charles, The Clown and Hooked Doll.
Specimen 8 would than return in the Doll House, being one of the three Specimens that needs to be sent through the Hellgate to shut down the mansion. The others being Specimen 4, Specimen 6 and Specimen 11. The Protagonist would need to bring Specimen 8 through an area that resembles both a forest and a cottage, surronded by Monster Deers. Afterwards, Specimen 8 would be sent through the Hellgate with his last words being 'Prays be Bayagoloth'.
Lost in Vivo[]
Specimen 8 appears in Lost in Vivo, where his family worshiped a creature called Bayaogoth. His family was praying for food because they were starving and because of this Bayagoloth created trees made of meat for them, but in return, their son was turned into a forest Demigod and became one of it's 'children'.

- Specimen 8 may have been based off of a few things:
- Specimen 8 was heavily inspired by The Beast from Over the Garden Wall.
- Specimen 8 may have also been a homage to the Windigo from old myths.
- Specimen 8 may also been a parady of a creature called SCP-1471-A.
- Specimen 8's death screen in a referance to the Disney Movie Bambi.
- There was a thoery that Specimen 8 and Unknown Specimen 4 are related or are connected, although there is no supporting evadance.
- Specimen 8's original total fatalities was 149.
