Sparx the Dragonfly

Sparx the Dragonfly is a main character in the Spyro series and The Legend of Spyro trilogy, he also appears as a magic item in the Skylanders series.

History[]

Spyro[]

Sparx the Dragonfly was first seen in Spyro the Dragon, where he keeps Spyro's health in check. If Spyro is got hit, Sparx would change color.

In Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage also known as Spyro Gateway to Glimmore, Spyro became to speak Sparx in the rain by telling him that he would like to go on a vacation, he also still acts as Spyro's health meter.

In Spyro Year of the Dragon, Sparx, while still acting as Spyro's health meter, will also aid others after Spyro has freed them from Moneybags, these other heroes are: Sheila the Kangaroo, Sgt. James Byrd and Bentley. Sparx would also go on his personal adventures to help Spyro to locate the missing Dragon Eggs.

In Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, Sparx went to celebrate the rescue of the missing Dragons with Spyro, Hunter the Cheetah and Bianca the Rabbit, only to see Ripto as well as Crush and Gulp return. Ripto made all of the Dragonflies disappear, including Sparx, only for Sparx to regroup with Spyro, Hunter and Bianca a bit later. Sparx once again went to help Spyro to look for the rest of the Dragonflies.

Sparx also appears in Spyro Season of Ice, Spyro Season of Flame, Spyro Enter the Dragonfly, Spyro Attack of the Rynocs and Spyro Orange the Cortex Conspiracy, where he would continue to help Spyro to fight against the remaining Rynocs.

In Spyro: A Hero's Tail, Sparx went to help Spyro to destroy the Dark Gems. Sparx would also go on personal adventures to help destroy the Dark Gems and would also help Hunter, Sgt. James Byrd and Blink the Mole.

Sparx also appears in Spyro: Shadow Legacy, once again to help Spyro to fight against Shadow Creatures.

The Legend of Spyro[]

Sparxicon — Sparx the Dragonfly, as seen in the *Legend of Spyro* trilogy.

Sparx was the birth child of Flash and Nina as well as the adopted brother of Spyro the Dragon. In The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, Sparx went to travel with Spyro to meet the Guardians and fight against the Apes.

In The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night, After Spyro defeated Cynder the Dragon, Sparx continued to hang around Spyro, even when Cynder went to help the Dragons after being freed from Malefor's control. Sparx often claims to not like Cynder, dispite helping Spyro to rescue her and was crystallized with the two after Dark Spyro defeated the Ape King.

In The Legend of Spyro: Sawn of the Dragon, Sparx was reawoken with Spyro and Cynder thanks to Malefor's new minions. Sparx continued to help both Spyro and Cynder as well as went to hang around Hunter the Cheetah.

Skylanders[]

Sparx appears in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, as a magic item when the Skylanders, namely Sunburn, went to the Dragon's Peek to bring Vathek to justice.

Sparx may also appear in Skylanders: Giants, the now discontinued Skylanders: Universe, Skylanders: SWAP-Force, Skylanders: Trap Team and Skylanders: SuperChargers, where he would continue to help the Skylanders in their battles.
