This version of Sonic the Hedgehog may have the same history as is prime counterpart, at least up until Sonic Generations.
In LEGO Dimensions, a version of Sonic the Hedgehog known as the Sonic Parade Balloon was summoned to fight against the Eggman Parade Balloon in the story pack based on the 2016 incarnation of the Ghostbusters.
In the Sonic Story Pack, the real Sonic the Hedgehog went to fight Badniks and went to collect a Chaos Emerald and later went to Tails' Garriege, only to find out that Dr. Eggman) kidnapped his friends, only for Sonic to distract him and free Tailes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Knuckles the Ekidna and Big the Cat. he then went to follow Dr. Eggman throughout the lands they once fought in, only to fight their once more, even collecting some more of the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic than went to fight against two versions of Robot Sonic and later Metal Sonic, only to chase down Dr. Eggman to the Death Egg. Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Big, and Omachoa in a rift, noticed Wyldstyle, Batman and Gandalf until they left and went to chase Eggman. He then fought against Eggman in his old mech and some Egg Pawns, until Chaos appeared. Sonic tried to fight against Chaos until Amy Rose gave him the last Chaos Emerald and so turned into Super Sonic to defeat Chaos, he then went to look for Amy after she fell into a portal.
Sonic may also appear in other worlds to help out other beings from across the dimensions.
