With the mastermind dead, the tower was never finished. Companies tried to tear the remains down. But strange and ghostly things always kept people at bay; Simon's spirit has been haunting the tower. Past[]
Simon Whittlebone was originally an architect that went to design many buildings, however due to either a short temper or high ambitions and a low budget, he was fired from the company he worked for. Due to this, he went to look for other ways to fulfill his dream of creating the tallest tower known to human kind.
Twisted Metal[]
Simon Whittlebone first appeared in Twisted Metal 2: World Tour, where he went to drive his vehicle known as Mr. Slam and so went enter the Twisted Metal contest to fight against the likes of Mr. Grimm, Sweet Tooth, Amanda Watts, Axel, Captain Jamie Roberts, Captain Rogers, Ken Masters, Krista Sparks, Marcus Kane, Mike & Stu and Mortimer Scharf. He later went to fight against Minion. And at the end of the Twisted Metal contest, he went to fight against Charlie Kane who was driving around in a vehicle known as the Dark Tooth. After winning the Twisted Metal contest, Simon Whittlebone went to speak to Calypso to ask for his prize. And so, thanks to Calypso's powers, Simon had a team constructing a large tower known as Whittlebone Tower, but due to Simon Whittlebone being so high up and the tower not being completed yet, he tripped on a few loose bricks and fell to his death.
Over the years, the ghost of Simon Whittlebone went to haunt Whittlebone tower to prevent anyone from trying to tear it down.
Simon Whittlebone returned in Twisted Metal: Head-On, where he, in a ghostly form, went to drive Mr. Slam once again and entered thw Twisted Metal tournament once more. He went to fight against Mr. Grimm, Sweet Tooth, Axel, Captain Jamie Roberts along with her brother Sergeant Carl Roberts, Krista Sparks, Marcus Kane and Mortimer Scarf again, along with Agent Shepard, Angel, Catfish, Chuckie Floop, Colonel Hall, Cousin Eddy, Gene Ruttish and Miranda Watts. After he won this Twisted Metal contest, Simon Whittlebone later told Calypso about what happened after he won last time. Afterwards, he asked Calypso to be reborn to continue his life's work. Due to this, Calypso mistook what he meant and used his magic to transform Simon Whittlebone into a literal baby.
It is unknown what happened to Simon Whittlebone after this.
