The Scarecrow is a recurring antagonist in the Shantae series.
History[]
Shantae[]
Scarecrows first appeared in Shantae, where they would often attach Shantae in a wheat field. A Scarecrow seems to be having a convisation with a Orc at a pub in a town.
The Scarecrows returned in Shantae: Risky's Revenge, this time in three forms to fight against Shantae, being; the standered Scarecrow, the Pumpking Throwing Scarecrows and a purple Scarecrow that would breath out a strange cloud. They would often ally themselves with other enemies in fighting against Shantae
All three version of the Scarecrows made their last known appearance in Shantae and the Pirates Curse, where they would appear in the Scarecrow fields, ready to fight against Shantae if given the chance.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Combat: The Scarecrows are not the best fighters as, like most enemies, would walk into Shantae.
- Pumpking Throwing: The Pumpling Throwing Scarecrows are more stacionary and would throw an explosive, rotting pumpking at their enemies.
- Night: The Night Scarecrows act similar to their regular counterparts, however they would cough out a harmful gas at their enemies.
