Ra is a recurring protagonist in the Samurai Jack series.
History[]
Samurai Jack[]
Ra is the god of the sun in ejeption mithology, where Samurai Jack at a young age suddied him and other ejeption gods.
In the episode The Brith of Evil, Part 1, Ra, Odin and Vishnu fought against what is known as The Black Mass, where a peace fell off to Earth and became Aku.
In the episode The Birth of Evil, Part 2, Ra, Odin and Vishnu granted a young Emperor a sword crafted from a part of his own spirit so that he would destroy Aku and so he did.
In the episode Jack and the Scarab, Ra was summoned by Jack so he could help him with the Minions of Set and so destroyed him. When Jack asked where he could find a Time Portal he left.
In the comic The Quest Four the Broken Blade Part Three, Ra appeared with Odin and Vishnu to test Samurai Jack to see if he realy was worthy of the sword his father gave him.
In the comic The Quest Four the Broken Blade Part Four, Ra, Odin and Vishnu placed Jack through three challenges that are somewhat related to their character and with Jack succeeding all three, he went back to Earth, only to meet Aku.
In the comic The Quest Four the Broken Blade Part Five, Ra, Odin and Vishnu gave Jack back his sword after fighting against Aku on his own, seeing him to be worthy of using it to it's fullest.
In Episode XCVIII, Ra, Odin and Vishnu once again appeared to Jack after he seeled away Mad Jack, once again giving him his sword back and making Jack look the same as he did in his prime.

- Ra was the one of the three gods to actully see Samurai Jack by himself.
- Most fans did not like the character of Ra, Odin and Vishnu due to the fact that they did nothing when Aku took over Earth.
- Ra was seen riding on an Alligator.
