Qui Gon Jinn is one of the minor protagonists in the Star Wars series.

History[]

Star Wars[]

Qui Gon Jinn trained at the Jedi order under Count Dooku, up until he became a Jedi Knight and was given a padawan known as Obi-Won Kenobi.

He made his first appearance in Star Wars: Episode I the Phantom Mance, where both he and his padawan were sent to a deplomatic mission with the traid federation. Qui Gon and Obi-Won later went to fight against Battle Droids, only for the two to split up and head to the planet known as Nabuu. On Nabuu Qui Gon helped one of it's inhabitants known as Jar Jar Binks, who allowed both Qui Gon and Obi-Won to go to the Gunnan village that is under the ocean. Qui Gon mind controlled the Gungan chief into allowing him, Jar Jar and Obi-Won to leave their city with a submarine, while avoiding some large fish. The three later went to fight more Battle Droids and later rescude Queen Amadala and some of her royal gaurds, only to head to a deseart planet in hopes to repair a ship due to battle damege. On the planet Qui Gon met Anakin Skywalker and his mother, only to gamble and cheat against the two's slaver who letted Anakin to join Qui Gon after he won a pod race. Qui Gon then fought against Darth Maul, only to leave to the Jedi Councle and show them Anakin, only to head back to Nabuu to help the Queen and her soldiers as well as team up with the Gungans in a fight against the Battle Droids. Qui Gon and Obi-Won then fought against Darth Maul once again, only for Maul to murder Qui Gon. Qui Gon then told Obi-Won to train Anakin before he died.

Qui Gon Jinn's teachings were studied after his died in both the Legends and Disney timelines.
