Jebidiah, better known as the Preacher is a relegious figure seen in the Twisted Metal series. Despite him not having any known magic-based powers he has been seen entering or around the paranormal Twisted Metal tournaments.
History[]
Twisted Metal[]
Jebidiah made his first appearance in Twisted Metal: Black, although due to the game being considered as dubiously canon to the series, it is considered that this version of the Preacher is just how Sweet Tooth sees him. He was either considered to be insane or was truely possessed by a Demon, although most evidance supports the first claim. A married couple went to him where he was trying to baptise a baby, only to view the child as a demon and tried to drown it and eliminated the perants, only for the Police to arrive and sent him to Blackwell Asylum. After a few years, Calypso decided to bring the Preacher out of the asulym and made him enter his Twisted Metal compatition, in hopes to be rid of the demon, riding off in his car known as Brimstone. The Preacher whould then fight against the other members of the tournament and even Minion. After he defeated Minion, he thought about the reason he went into the assylum and carried on into the tournament. When he destroyed Warhawk, the Preacher went to claim his prize from Calypso, only for Calypso to tell him that he was just insane, leading to the Preacher to try to redeem himself, only to jump off a building and fall into trafic. The Preacher was also believed to be the one who gave Sweet Tooth the fire on his head, as a curse.
The Preacher returns in Twisted Metal: Lost, where his possible Ghost was still driving Brimstone to possibly get revenge on Colypso and some of the other contestants.
While he made be a diffrent person or diffrent version of the previous Preacher, he returns in the 2012 version of Twisted Metal, where he commented on the Twisted Metal tournaments, claiming that Calypso can revive the dead and trying to help Sweet Tooth and Mr. Grimm. Although he was later trapped in a painting due to Calypso's hands. The Preacher may have entered the twisted Metal tournament with his Holy Men to fight against Sweet Tooth's Clowns, Mr. Grimm's Skulls and Dollface's Dolls.

The Preacher appeared in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, where he was seen as a minion and as an icon.

- The version of the Preacher seen in Twisted Metal: Black, is often considered to be how Sweet Tooth views religious views and possibly others trying to force a religion on him.
- So far, Preacher is the only driver for the vehicle known as Brimstone.
