Portal Masters are Owners of the Portal of Power and powerful beings in the Skylanders series.

History

Skylanders

The Portal Masters were around  near the beginning of the creation of Skylands, as Ancient Portal Masters found a way to use an old form of magic known as Mind Magic, whitch allowed them to create what they can. Over time the Portal Master were split in two sub-groups and fought each other: One commanded old Skylanders. The other had command over strainge creatures such as the Hydra.

Master Eon, overtime commanded multiple Skylander teams even after he became the last of the beneverlant Portal Masters in Skylands.

In Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, the spirit of Eon seeked out new Portal Masters to look after the Skylanders that he was commanding to protect the Core of Light and was banished after it's destruction.
