Pop Thorn is a playable character in the Skylanders series. In the series he is a part of the Air Element.
Biography[]
Pop Thorn hails from a race of creatures known as Pufferthorns. Often considered one of the cutest creatures in all of Skylands, they are generally quite timid and puff out sharp spines when scared. It is this ability that long ago led to the unfortunate legacy of being used as combs by giant trolls everywhere, being the sharp spines are perfect for brushing out tangles from their long, matted hair. But not long ago, one Pufferthorn took a stand. Tired of his race being used for nothing more than good grooming, Pop Thorn used his naturally thorny abilities to stand up and fight back against the giant trolls. Soon after, Master Eon made Pop Thorn a Skylander. And to this day, no trolls dare to comb their hair.

Pop Thorn appears in Skylanders: SWAP-Force, where he helps the SWAP-Force from preventing Kaos and his minions from trying to 'Evilize' the Ancient Elementals. Pop Thorn can also appear in the Tower of Time, where he would help Captain Fynn and the kangarats to fight against some Time Trolls, Time Spell Punks and Cluck.
Pop Thorn appears in Skylanders: Cloud Patrol, where he would fire a canon at some sheep.
He can also be seen in Skylanders: Lost Islands, with a counterpart known as Buttered Pop Thorn.
He also appears in Skylanders: Battlegrounds.
Pop Thorn may also appear in Skylanders: Trap Team, Skylanders: SuperChargers, Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing and Skylanders: Imaginators, where he would help those various Skylander teams in their respected adventures.
