The Overseer (空亡: Soranaki, in Japanese) is a Boss Yo-Kai in the Yo-Kai Watch series.
History[]
Yo-Kai Watch: Forever Friends[]
Ancient Emna claimed that the Overseer exited in ancient times and nearly destroyed the youkai world as well as possibly wiping out almost all of the Oni Tribe.
The Overseer would later take over the mind of Shien, the son of Ancient Enma, to send his minions to collect souls for him. After the right amount of souls were collected, the Overseer showed himself to the humans and their youkai friends. He would later fight against the humands and their youkai friends, only to be defeated by Yasha Enma, the fusion of Shien and the soul of Itsuki Takashir, one of the humans the Overseer was fighting. He possibly died after this.
Yo-Kai Watch Shadowside[]
The Overseer returned in the Yo-Kai Watch Shadowside series, where he went to fight against the Youkai Detective Agency and their youkai friends, only to be defeated once again.
Yo-Kai Watch 4[]
The Overseer returned as the main antagonist in Yo-Kai Watch 4, where they possibly caused a ripple in time, causing the heroes and youkai from the past to the year 2040.
