The Old Woman is a major character in the Celeste indie video game.

Back when she was young, she was known as Celia, who went to climb Mount Celeste and met her husband there known as Carlos. She and Carlos later had a child with him. She may have also met Mr. Oshiro on her climb. At one point, she heading back to Mount Celeste and make it her home.
The Old Woman was first seen in her house, where she went to greet the visitors of Mount Celeste such as her grandson Theo and Madeline. She is occasionally seen around the mountain to give advice to Madeline and later appeared with Theo after both Madeline and Badeline made up. She was later seen in her house with Theo after both Madeline and Badeline returned with Mr. Oshiro also entering the house to eat Madeline's Strawberry pie. After a year has passed, the Old Woman went to phone Madeline to ask if she wanted to explore the mountain further. Madeline later found out that she died during the year. Madeline went to apologize to her for missing her funereal, only for her to laugh it off and departed to the afterlife.
