Ben Kenobi, formerly known as Obi-Wan Kenobi was a member of the Jedi counsle.

History

Star Wars

Obi-Wan Kenobi was the student of Qui Gon Jinn in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, where the two went to the traid federation's small space station. They were later cough up in a firefight and left to the planet Kameno hiding in droid warships, when they on the planet they ran into a Gungan named Jar Jar Binks, only to later go to his home where a lot of other Gungans were shown to be afraid of him. After Qui Gon brought Jar Jar with them they later left while avoiding giant fish. When they reached the royal castle they went to free the queen and destroy Battle Droids. The Crew went in a ship and later crashed on Tatooieen, Obi Won had to help Qui Gon fight off a Sith and later left the planet. Both Obi Won and Qui Gon were speaking with the councle about Anakin Skywalker until they had to head back to Naboo where they had to take on the Traid Federation with the Queen and the Gungans. Both Obi Won and Qui Gon later had a long fight with the Sith known as Darth Maul, Maul murdered Qui Gon and Obi Won in turn cut Maul in two. After the battle on Naboo was over Obi Won and the rest of the Jedi had a funeral for Qui Gon and later a celebration for the victory of Naboo's battle. Then on Obi Won trained young Anakin.

In Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, Obi Won and a teen aged Anakin went back to the Corosant where they were sent to protect the Pademe Armidalla from attempts of Murder on her life. He found a drone that brought some poisoning serpents to Pademe's bed, he later jumped into a car being driven by Anakin and went after the bounty hunter that sent the drone. the bounty hunter was poisoned by another bounty hunter. Obi Won later tried to find out who the other bounty hunter was but kept finding dead ends until he met up with Yoda and Obi Won went to a new planet known as Kameno. He then saw the Clone project and went to look for s Mandalorian known as Jango Fett, who the two later went into a fight with each other, only for Obi Won lose the fight and went off to follow Jango to a planet. He was later captured and had a convastion with Count Dooku about his former master. Anakin and Queen Padme Amadala later went to rescue him, only to also be captured. The Jedi order went to free the three, leading to them fighting against the Battle Droids. The Clone Troopers later picked up Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padme to fight against Count Dooku, only for Obi-Wan and Anakin to argue after she fell off the ship. Both Obi-Wan and Anakin later went to fight against Count Dooku, only to lose with Yoda to take over the battle a bit afterwards. Obi-Wan, Anakin and Yoda later went back home with them confused about the situation.

Obi-Wan Kenobi fought in various battles against the Battle Droids in the Clone Wars.

In Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan and Anakin were flying through a battle to reach the CiS main command ship, afterwards both of them fought there way to the elevators and even in th elevators, the two later saw Palpateen. This lead to both Obi-Wan and Anakin to fight against ount Dooku for the last time, only for Obi-Wan to fall uncounsious. After waking up, Obi-Wan, Anakin and Palpateen found themselves captured and was sent to General Grievous, only to fight against him and later try to pilot his broken ship back to Korasunt. After meeting back up with the Jedi Council, Obi-Wan went to back to studing the war, later trying to tell Anakin that he is still on his side. Both Obi-Wan and Yoda later saw securitie of Anakin murdering younglings after fighting against the Clone Troopers that betrayed them. Obi-Wan later went to Padme and hitched-hike on her ship, only to see Anakin murder chocking her and later fought him until Anakin was searing in flames and left. After Padme gave birth to twins, Obi-Won brought one of them, being Luke Skywalker back to Anakin's homeworld.

Obi-Wan Kenobi change his name back to his birth name, being Ben Kenobi and went to cope with the failures of letting the Galactic Empire take over the galxey.

Ben Kenobi made his first appearance in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, where after seeing R2-D2, he went to help Luke Skywalker to rescue Princess Lia Amadala. First Ben, Luke, R2-D2 and C-3PO went to ally themselves with Han Solo and Chewbakka to head to the Death Star. Ben dismembered some parts of the Death Star only to later fight against his old apprentice, Darth Vader and later died in battle. The Ghost of Ben would continue to help Luke to destroy the Death Star.

The ghost of Ben Kenobi appears in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, where he was seen with Yoda to tell Luke to continue his training, only to discuse with Yoda about the fate of the galexy.

The ghost of Ben Kenobi also appears in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, discusing to luke abou the fate of his father. Ben Kenobi's ghost appeared once again with the ghosts of Yoda and Anakin Skywalker to celebrate the defeat of the Empire.

Ben Kenobi's teachings may have inspired the force users after the defeat of the Empire in both the Legends and Disney timelines.

• Obi-Wan Kenobi was played by the late Alec Guinness, who claimed to have not liked the role. Ewan McGregor played as a younger Obi-Wan in the later movies.
