~ No-Face, Twisted Metal: Black. |
Frank "The Tank" McCutcheon, better known as No-Face, is a playable character in the Twisted Metal series.
History[]
Past[]
Frank McCutcheon, also known as The Tank, was a boxer that used to do a few rounds and follow in his father's footsteps. He wasn't exactly a big shot, but he did pull a few crowds. He may have also won a car known as the Crazy 8 during one of his matches at one point. Though at one point, when he lost a match, he went to see a doctor known as Dr. Hatch for his injuries, but since the doctor bet on him and he lost, the doctor mutilated him, causing Frank to look for the doctor, only for him to accidentally harm others in his way and he was sent to Blackfield Asylum and was given the nickname of No-Face.
Twisted Metal[]
No-Face first appeared in Twisted Metal: Black, where Calypso went to give him a visit, in doing so, he asked No-Face to enter his competition, in exchange for a bit of revenge on the person that wronged him. Due to this, No-Face went into his now modified version of his Crazy 8 car and went to fight against the likes of Charlie Kane, Sweet Tooth, Axel, Agent Stone, Billy Ray Stillwell, Black, Bloody Mary, Cage, Dollface, John Doe, Mr. Grimm, Preacher and Raven. No-Face then went to fight against Minion who was actually Marcus Kane at the time, then Warhawk. After winning the contest, Calypso brought Dr. Hatch to No-Face tied up to a boxing mat and gave No-Face a modified boxing glove, leading to No-Face to get his revenge. Afterwards, No-Face went to go around Midtown, possibly feeling a bit liberated afterwards.
No-Face returned in Twisted Metal: Lost, where he was once again driving Crazy 8 and was said to take the eyes and tongues from victims so that he can make his daughter happy again. He was also seen fighting against Charlie Kane, Sweet Tooth, Axel, Agent Stone, Billy Ray Stillwell, Black, Bloody Mary, Cage, Dollface, Mr. Grimm, Preacher and Raven again, along with Golden Tooth, John Doe and Severed Sam.

Trivia[]
- It is implied that No-Face has a certain extra-sensory that can allow him to see stuff without his eyes.
- No-Face was seen to be able to narrate his story and once mentioned that 'he's seen fear in a man's eyes before', possibly implying he might still be able to still see and speak or he could have felt the fear in Dr. Hatch when he delivered the finishing blow to him.
- No-Face's boxing glove that Calypso gave to him was seen on display in the 2012 version of Twisted Metal.
- Since Twisted Metal: Black and Twisted Metal: Lost are said to take place within the head of Swee Tooth, it is theorized that No-Face either represents how Needles sees the world, due to him stating that he can only see in darkness or he is an interpenetration on how Needles views getting any type of scar.
