Mr. Oshiro is a minor character in the indie video game Celeste.

History

Celeste

Mr. Oshiro was originally a worker of a hotel on Mount Celeste, however when the hotel was shutting down, he decided to stay rather than joining the other workers on their hike. He presumably died due to an unknown cause after this.

After Madeline rung the hotel's bell, Mr. Oshiro appeared to greet her and possibly claimed to have met Theo as well. Mr. Oshiro went to bring Madeline across to the the hotel and unknowingly caused a harmful substance to spread across the hotel. Mr. Oshiro thought about cleaning the hotel, only to hear Madeline to do so, he later brought her to the president suite. After Badeline insulted him, Mr. Oshiro went to ask Madeline why she wanted to leave, only to insulted by Badeline once again. This caused Mr. Oshiro to turn into a monster and chase down Madeline. A bit afterwards he decided to head back into the hotel to clean it up by himself. Mr. Oshiro was mentioned a few times by Madeline, Badeline and the Old Woman. He later went to the Old Woman's house after a Bird told him and so met Theo, Madeline, Badeline and the Old Woman for a party. He presumably went back to hotel after this.

• Harmful Substance Creation: Mr. Oshiro has been shown to create a harmful substance witch appears to be alive.
• Monster Transformation: Mr. Oshiro has been shown to turn into an actual monster after being insulted.
• Flight: Being a type of ghost, Mr. Oshiro is often seen flying around.
