Mr. Grimm is a playable character in the Twisted Metal series.

History

Twisted Metal

Mr. Grimm made his first appearance in the 1995 video game Twisted Metal, where he entered the contest to collect souls and would later meat up with Calypso and decided to take his soul next.

Mr. Grimm returned in Twisted Metal 2, where he once again went to entered the Twisted Metal tournament and asked Calypso for the Earth go in an oppocalyps in hopes to gain more souls. Afterwards, Mr. Grimm gained a bit of wildrall because of this.

While sent in a diffrent timeline, Mr. Grimm also appeared in Twisted Metal III, where he once again set out to join the Twisted Metal tournament and after he won, he asked for Calpyso's soul, only for Calpyso to shrink him and step on him.

Still in the same timeline as the last installment, in Twisted Metal 4, Mr. Grimm decided to change his name to Captain Grimm, became a type of pirate and entered a Twisted Metal tournament that was now ran by Sweet Tooth, now driving a pirate-themed car. After he won that tournament, his parrot asked Melvin that Captain Grimm and Sweet Tooth have a sword fight to the death and the winner will get the soul of the first one dead. Sweet Tooth would end up slaying Captain Grimm's parrot.

While taking place in Sweet Tooth's mind, this may be considered as dubiously cannon, by a version of Mr. Grimm appears in Twisted Metal: Black, where after being forced to eat his dying friend by a Vietnam Advisor, he ended up taking the lives of four of his own men after being rescued and was sent to Blackfield Assylum for thirty years. Calypso would later free him from the assylum and asked him to join his Twisted Metal tourniment. After Mr. Grimm destroyed Warhawk, he went back to Calypso and was given a room with the advider chained up and an axe.

While almost everyone is a kid version of themselves, a version of Mr. Grimm appears in Twisted Metal: Small Brawl, where he entered Belly Calypso's game. After he won, Billy showed Mr. Grimm the portal to halloween land, where he entered it and saw a few Demons. It is unknown what happened to this version of Mr. Grimm after this.

Taking place in the original timeline, after the second installment. Mr. Grimm returned in Twisted Metal: Head-On, where he went to enter another Twisted Metal tournament and after he one, took another soul and asked Caplyso to turn some one else into the Grim reaper and turn him into a human. After Calpso turned a young girl into a Grim Reaper, Mr. Grimm was also turned into a human, only for him to be ran over by a bus.

Sweet Tooth's version of Mr. Grimm appeared in Twisted Metal: Lost, where he entered another Twisted Metal tournament in hopes of looking for another 'meal' to eat and losing more and more of what was left of his sanity.

A version of Mr. Grimm also appeared in the 2012 version of Twisted Metal, where his father died in a bike accident and over the years, he began to create a gang known as the Skulls. He entered the Twisted Metal tournament in hopes prevent his dad's death. After he won, Mr. Gimm was sent back in time and accidently caused his dad's death, leading to his younger self to shoot him.

• Mr. Grimm, Sweet Tooth and Calypso have appeared in every Twisted Metal game.
• Mr. Grimm in TM:B, TM:SB and the 2012 version can be considered to be diffrent characters by some. Due to this, they will have diffrent pages.
• So far Mr. Grimm and his other counterparts are the only drivers of his vehicle.
• Mr. Grimm is considered to be the Grim Reaper of the Twisted Metal universe.
• Mr. Grimm was a homage to Marvel's Ghost Rider.
