Monroe (The Unfinished Swan) is the main protagonist in the indie game known as The Unfinished Swan.
History[]
Giant Sparrow[]
Monroe was the child of a mother that died of an illness and went to an orphanage with one of her paintings. In The Unfinished Swan, Monroe went to a strange world where he was trying to track down a Swan, even going to a kingdom and met a Giant. When he reached the near top of a building, he went on a hot air ballon to chase the Swan, only to fall into the water where he found himself in the woods. He went through the woods and tried to avoid Spiders until he reached an old house, where he saw a few blueprint worlds and entered them so that he could finish what was created. He then went on a boat to a monument of the former ruler of the land and so went to reach him, although in doing so he caused a flood and went to the top of the monument as fast as he could. He then saw the King and the King's Hippo, only for the King to wake up and tell Monroe about his dream. Monroe then went back to the orphanage with his dad's brush and painted the Swan's picture so that he could finish it.
While he did not appear in the game itself, fans have noticed that Monroe's father known as the King was known as Milton Finch was seen in What Remains of Edith Finch, possably making Monroe's last name to be 'Finch'.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale[]
While it is unclear if it is Monroe or the King, one of the DLC stage known as The Graveyard features someone throwing paint all over the Gravyard in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
