The Sidekicks, later known as the Minis are a group of small and young Skylanders.

Skylanders[]
The Sidekicks were four small Skylanders that orignated from the Skylands Mini-Verse, the four were Gill Runt, Terrabite, Trigger Snappy and Whisper Elf that aided the Skylanders in their adventures in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventures.
In Skylanders: Giants, four new Sidekicks appeared to aid the Skylanders and the Giants in their adventure. These four being Barkley, Eye-Small, Mini-Jini and Thumpling.
All eight of the Sidekicks appeared in the now discontinued Skylanders: Universe, as a form of magic items.
In Skylanders: Trap Team, the eight Sidekicks joined a new group of Skylanders from the Skylands Mini-Verse known as the Minis. The Minis aided the Core Skylanders and the Trap Masters to trap released Villains from the destroyed Cloudcracker Prison.
The Sidekicks, later known to be the Minis also appeared in Skylanders: Lost Islands.
The Minis also appear in Skylanders: SWAP-Force, Skylanders: SuperChargers, Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing and Skylanders: Imaginators, where they would help those various Skylander teams in their adventures.

- The Sidekicks, Minis and half of the SuperChargers are the only groups of Skylanders that have all of the members that are an altered form of Core Skylanders.
- Life and Water are are the only Elements that had both of the Sidekicks before becoming the Minis.
- Earth, Magic, Tech and Undead also had at least one Sidekick before becoming Minis.
