Minion is a playable character in the Twisted Metal series.
History[]
Twisted Metal[]
Minion was seen on the Twisted Metal 2 comic book, where he was seen chasing down Calyso after he entered hell. Only for Calypso to outrun him and Minion had some of his powers given to Calypso after Satan was impressed over this. It is believed that Minion later entered the many Twisted Metal Computations after this to get either revenge or his powers back.
Minion first appeared in the 1995 version of Twisted Metal, in his large battle tank to fight against the contestants, being either Agent Stone, Angela Fortin, Bruce Cochrane, Captain Spears, Charlie Kane, Commander Mason, Dave & Mike Mr. Ash, Mr. Grimm, Scott Campbell, Sergeant Carl Roberts or Sweet Tooth. However it was believed that he was defeated by one of these contestants.
Minion returned in Twisted Metal 2, where he was seen in the burning fields seen on the Amazon, where he was seen fighting against Bruce Cochrane, Mr. Grimm, Sweet Tooth, Amanda Watts, Axel, Captain Jamie Roberts, Captain Rogers, Ken Masters, Krista Sparks, Marcus Kane, Mike & Stu, Mortimer Scharf or Simon Whittlebone. However, unlike last contest, Minion would later fight against the others as a contestant too, even fighting against a clone of himself and Charlie Kane in the Dark Tooth vehicle. After Minion won the contest, he sent Calypso to hell.
It should be noted that many consider Twisted Metal III and Twisted Metal 4 are considered to be non-canon to many. That and Twisted Metal: Black is canonically how Sweet Tooth viewed the first TM tournament. Despite this, the three following games are still considered as part of the Twisted Metal franchise.
Minion also appeared in "Twisted Metal III", where he was one of the contestants, fighting against the others, later fighting against Mr. Ash in his Darkside vehicle and near the end, fighting against a monster known as Primeval. After winning the contest, he asked Calypso to send him back to hell, only for Calypso to send him to Hell in Michigan instead.
In Twisted Metal 4, Minion appears as on of the bosses that Sweet Tooth possibly hired to help run his contest, where he was seen in Minion's Maze to fight against Calypso, Conner Nazang, Dennis Flanders, Goggle Eyes, General Warthog, Micro Blast, Orbital, Quatro, Rob Zombie, The Joneses, Trash Man or Zanita Corbett. Though strangely, Minion may have allowed a person to borrow his tank or a copy of his tank.
In Twisted Metal: Black, Minion was seen in a place known as Minion's Stadium, where he went to fight against the contestants, such as Charlie Kane, Sweet Tooth, Agent Stone, Billy Ray Stillwell, Black, Bloody Mary, Cage, Dollface, John Doe, Mr. Grimm, No=Face, Preacher or Raven. Though later after his defeat, Minion may have been revived and went to fight in the tournament as a contestant, where he went to fight against slightly bigger version of himself and later a person known as Warhawk The dialog that Minion uses is numbered, but resembles a type of code, revealing that this is how Sweet Tooth sees Marcus Kane, his old self.

Trivia[]
- Minion was originally meant to be a battle tank driven by a cult known as Apocalypse 9.
- Despite being a demon, Minion seem to be a bit justified in his actions.
- The version of Minion seen in Twisted Metal: Black, being a version of Marcus Kane, is a possible way of Sweet Tooth viewing his more positive traits as his 'inner demon', ironically.
