Merasmus is a recurring character in the Team Fortress series.

History[]

Team Fortress[]

Merasmus was a wizard that lived for a long life, he had a castle of eldrid horrors and a book known as the Bombanomicon, he once hired a young Tavish Finnagan DeGroot to clean his castle, only to take out one of his eye's that wear haunted by the Bombanomicon. Years later he had a roommate that is Soldier.

In the webcomic Bombinomicon, Merasmus appeared at the Merceneries hangout, confusing the Demoman and began fighting against Soldier and later summoned Monoculus.

In Team Fortress 2, Merasmus acts as a boss and sometimes summons other known magical creatures such as Monoculus or the Bombinomicon.

In the webcomic Blood Money, Merasmus opened an amusment park, by boweing money from the Japanese mafia. He later hired Steve to see what he did wrong and after hearing that he might need dead bodies, he went to visit Soldier, Scout, Sniper and Spy. He presumably got his dead dobies for the park.

In the webcomic Gargoyles & Gravel, Merasmus bowed money from the Russian Muffia and visited the Merceneries once again, only to trick Soldier and had a convisation with Spy. After being turned down, the Mafia was ready to be rid of him, only for the Merceneries to change their minds and fight the forces that Merasmus summoned that year.

In the webcomic Doom-Mates, after Merasmus returned from Wizard-Con, he saw Soldier, how destroyed his castle and brough every racoon in the Badlands over to it and only just saved the Bombinomicon. He later saw an officer and found out that Soldier was also a park ranger, enraged by this, his soul left his body to try and curse Soldier, only to see Soldier burning his body. Merasmus than went to rage battle against the Merceneries the following Halloween.

In the webcomic Ring of Fired, After being kicked out of his castle, Merasmus became a loger for Tom Jones for a while. At one point, Merasmus noticed that Soldier murdered Tom Jones and so decided to call the Police, only for Ms. Pauling disguised as a policeman appeared to take Soldier and told Merasmus to hold Tom Jone's neck. Merasmus was later arested a bit afterwards.

In the webcomic Grave Matter, whilte Merasmus was still in prison he dicided to tell his fellow inmates about a tail that he knew about whilte making toliet wine.

It is currently unknown what happened to Merasmus after this although it can be assumed that he either escaped or left prison.
