| “ | Stories tell of a carnival that would travel from town to town. At its head was a man surrounded by mystery, who is known only as Calypso. One day, this carnival came to my master's town. It was unlike anything he had seen before! In it, contestants would battle in vehicles of their choosing for a chance of winning a mysterious prize. Some said this prize was a single wish; anything the victor could possibly desire. But, they also say that the stakes for playing were high. The cost of losing; one's immortal soul! My master also tells me he did not start life out as a clown. He was once a boy; A boy who dreamt of fire! Destruction! And twisted metal! Word of the deadly traveling show spread like the plague! Great was my master's skill in battle, but in the collection of souls, he was but a pawn. Days turned into months, months into years. Desire turns into envy, and envy turned into a plan. Calypso's time as the carnival's master of ceremonies came to an end! My master was ready to take his rightful place; seated at the throne of the Twisted Metal empire! | „ |

Melvin is a major character in Twisted Metal 4.

Melvin may of been a regular circus performer, however over the years, he may of met Sweet Tooth, where he would of possibly helped Sweet Tooth cause a few crimes and other mayhem, ending up as one of Sweet Tooth's Henchmen.
Twisted Metal 4[]
Melvin only appeared in Twisted Metal 4, where he, along with others of Sweet Tooth's Henchmen and even Sweet Tooth himself, kicked Calypso out of a tower and took over the twisted metal contest. Afterwards, Sweet Tooth hired Mevlin to speak to the contestants and grant their wishes, with the contestants being Calypso, Captain Grimm, Conner Nazang, Dennis Flanders, Goggle Eyes, General Warthog, Micro Blast, Orbital, Quatro, Rob Zombie, The Joneses, Trash Man, Zanita Corbett and an Unknown person. After the contestants won, Melvin would grant their wish as seen in order: 1. Calypso just went to wrestle the ring from Sweet Tooth. 2. Captain Grimm asked Melvin for a sword dual with Sweet Tooth and the winner will get the 'soul of the first one dead', leading to Sweet Tooth to murder the parrot on Captain Grimm's shoulder. 3. Conner Nazang, better known as Pizza Boy, had his car upgraded to go fast, to the point of light speed and may of ended up in a black hole with Melvin saying "Instead of pot holes, he should have been looking out for black holes." 4. Dennis Flanders, better known as Drag Queen, gets his wish without trouble or any contradictions. He asks to be famous, becoming a pop star. Drag Queen celebrates by singing on stage in front of an unseen audience. 5. When Goggle Eyes asks Melvin to place all the bugs in one place for him to exterminate them all, Melvin placed all the bugs inside of Goggle Eyes, himself, in turn murdering Goggle Eyes. 6. General Warthog asked Melvin for an army to will every and all victories, which in turn either turned General Warthog into a toy or had a toyline based off of General Warthog. 7. Micro Blast asked Melvin to be as bid as a skyscraper and to be feared by those that look above him, this led to Melvin to turn Micro Blast into a giant for a bit, but Micro Blast was then transformed into a statue. 8. Orbital asked Melvin to be normal, but he made a slip up by saying he 'don't want to be the only one on the planet with only half a face', leading to Melvin to turn the agency that Orbital works at to have the same condition as him. 9. Quatro and an intergalactic police force went to fight against Sweet Tooth, Melvin and the rest of Sweet Tooth's Henchmen. 9. Rob Zombie just asked Melvin for the world to 'hear the wails and war cries of a dead man's soul'. Melvin would grant this, which turns out to be footage of the real Rob Zombie performing at a concert. 10. The Jonese, a family of four, would ask Melvin for a renovated RV and Sweet Tooth as the driver, which led to Sweet Tooth to drive them around, but since Sweet Tooth got annoyed with the family, it led to Sweet Tooth driving off a cliff, possibly to murder the family. 11. The Trash Man would ask Melvin for a world that is filled with nothing but garbage, leading to Melvin to possibly shrink Trash Man and place him inside a garbage can. 12. Zanita Corbett, better known as Meter Maid, just gave Melvin a fine for damages in the millions, which Meter Maid did say they could go to community service instead where a member of the Police would give Sweet tooth, Melvin and some of the other Sweet Tooth's Henchmen a few safety tips. 13. It is unknown what the mysterious driver wished for, but it is believed that Melvin did grant it.
It is currently unknown what happened to Melvin after this.
