~ Marcus Kane's biography, Twisted Metal 2.

Marcus Kane is a recurring character seen in the Twisted Metal series.

History[]

Marcus Kane is considered to be a version of Sweet Tooth, possibly from his past or how he veiws his past life. It is unknown how he and Sweet Tooth can coexist in the main reality, although it can be assumed that this was because Sweet Tooth may have tried to wish away the 'sane' parts of his mind when he won a Twsited Metal contest.

Marcus Kane made his first appearance in Twisted Metal 2, where he was driving a vehicle known as Roadkill. After he won the contest, he wished to be woken up, leading Calypso to send his mind into a diffrent reality where he was seen waking up in a hospital next to Axel, Simon Whittlebone and Mike. Afterwards, Marcus went back home with his wife and daughters.

although set in a secondary timeline, Marcus Kane returned in Twisted Metal III, where he once again entered the Twisted Metal contest. After he won, Calypso assumed that his wish was to be hiding in the forest full of pines, leading him to send Marcus into a mental asylum known as Wispering Pines and was possibly trapped their for the rest of his life.

Since this installment takes place in Sweet Tooth's mind, it is considered as dubiously cannon, but Marcus Kane also appeared in Twisted Metal: Black, where he went under the alies of Minion. He may have been the winner of the Twisted Metal tourniment the year before thid one. He went to fight against Billy Ray Steelweel, a Preacher, Agent Stone, Mr. Grimm, John Doe, No-Face, Bloody Mary, Dollface, Raven, Charlie Kane and Son, Axel, Cage, Black and Sweet Tooth. Only to be destroyed in battle agenst them. Although after everyone won the contest, Minion would be revived, possibly by Calypso's magic turning back his clock, leading to to also fight in the tourniment and even a secondary version of himself. He will speak in numbers witch can be deciphored into letters abought how he feels about Sweet Tooth's world. Once he won though, he does not claim any prize and possibly just drives off onto Midtown.

Marcus Kane made his last known appearance in Twisted Metal: Head On, where he went to compete in a Twisted Metal tourniment once again. After he won, he asked Calypso to be rid of this nightmare, leading Calypso to turn Marcus into Sweet Tooth. A bit later, Marcus Kane and Sweet Tooth went to meet each other and decided to drive the vehicles known as Dark Tooth and Tower Tooth together until they were defeated.

It is currently unknown what happened to Marcus Kane after these events.
