Mad Jack is the embodiment of all of Samurai Jack's anger and hatred.
History[]
Samurai Jack[]
Mad Jack first appeared in the episode Jack vs. Mad Jack, were he was created by Aku's magic and Samurai Jack's own aggravation. He was defeated and turned into a red spirit after Jack found inner peace.
While some fans might not consider it canon, Mad Jack was the semi-final boss in the videogame Samurai Jack: The Shadow of Aku. He would try to attack Jack and head into wanted poster signs to help regenerate himself.
Mad Jack took possession over Jack when Aku stated the he destroyed the last time portal, making Jack lose his sword. He also made other negative forms of Jack to sacrifice, being: Anguish, Bloodlust and Apathy to haunt the Samurai for nearly fifty years.
Mad Jack makes a reappearance in the fifth season's Episode XCVIII, where he wanted Jack to take his anger out on a Monk and smacked Jack for not doing what he wants. He was sealed away by Jack with a gold beam of light stating that Jack had regain his hope.
Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion[]
Mad Jack is shown as a different Skin for Samurai Jack in the crossover videogame Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion.

- Some fans believed that Mad Jack was the same character as Anguish, Bloodlust and Apathy. However this could be proven false as they are all based on different personalities with Mad Jack being based off of hatred.
