Mace Windu was first seen in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, where he was seen next to Yoda on the Jedi Counsel, arguing if young Anakin Skywalker could or could not be the the Chosen One. He was later seen again with Yoda questioning if the Sith that was taken down was the master or the apprentice.
In Star Wars: Episode II Attack of The Clones, Mace Windu came to the arena that Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin and Pademe Amadala was held only to point his Light Saber to Count Dooku and tell him that he is under arrest while other Jedi also came to the Arena to help the captured Jedi and positional. Windu also fought Jango Fett and cut his head off.
Mac Windu has been shown to take part in the clone wars at one of the strongest generals of the Republic.
In Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, Mace Windu greeted both Obi Won and Anakin when they rescued Chancller Palperteen and mocked General Greavus' escape. He was also using Anakin to spy on Palperteen, since he brought him to the counsel be did nott grant him the rank of master. After finding out that Palperteen was the real Sith, he along with three other Jedi decided to arrest him but went in an all out brawl with Palperteen killing the tree other Jedi and trying to electrify Mace with it backfiring. This was until Anakin came in and tried to reason with him, since Windo was not being reasonable, Anakin cut off his hand and Palperteen electrified him out the Window. Mace Windu presumably died because of this.
It is unknown if Mace Windu's teaching were recodnised in either the Legends or Disney timelines.
