Krypt king is a playable character in the Skylanders series, in the series he is a part of the Undead Element.
Biography[]
The perfect blend of sword and sorcery Krypt King wandered Skylands for years as the disembodied spirit of a knight - until he found his way into the depths of an ancient Arkeyan weapon vault. Upon finding an enormously powerful suit of armor, the spirit decided to make it his own. Unfortunately, this triggered a long dormant auto defense system. With alarms blaring, a massive sealed chamber was opened, revealing a huge army of war machines. Krypt King launched himself towards the attack force, swinging his newly found giant sword until every machine was utterly destroyed. Realizing the power he wielded could serve a broader purpose, Krypt King sought out the Skylanders and was made a member of the Trap Team, where he now uses his massive Traptanium blade to cut down evil!

Skylanders[]
Krypt King was a member of the Trap Masters that captured and imprisoned various Villains, even the notorious Doom Raiders until Kaos destroyed the Cloudcracker Prison witch sent the Trap Masters as well as some Traps to Earth. In Skylanders: trap Team, Krypt King and the rest of the Trap Masters returned to Skylands where they are ready to recapture and imprison the Villains once again with the help of the Core Skylanders and the Minis. He also has a counterpart known as Nitro Krypt King.
Krypt King also appears in Skylanders: Lost Islands.
He also appears in Skylanders: Battlecast, through a card based strategy game.
In Skylanders: Ring of Heroes, Krypt King makes a reappearance where he will also gain an Awakened Form.
Krypt King may also appear in Skylanders: SuperChargers, Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing and Skylanders: Imaginators, where he would help the SuperChargers, the Senseis and the Imaginators in their respected adventures.

- Both Krypt king and Chopper where originally planned to be Giants but wear ultimately replaced and made their true appearance in Trap Team.
- Krypt King is the only Skylander that has a Nitro form that has no abilities related tp speed.
