Ka-Boom is a playable character in the Skylanders series and a recurring character in the Skylanders Academy series. In the Skylanders series, he is a part of the Fire Element.
Biography[]
Ka-Boom hails from an ancient volcanic island known as Munitions Forge where he and his people crafted machinery that was used all throughout Skylands. But the ruthless Captain Ironbeard wanted the forge for himself so he could build an unstoppable pirate armada. With a fleet of pirate ships approaching, Ka-Boom went to work, creating the greatest anti-pirate weapon ever forged - The Boom Cannon! When Ironbeard arrived with his invaders, Ka-Boom met them at the edge of the docks with his cannon lowered, still smoldering red hot from having just come out of the fire. One by one, he sank their ships until Captain Ironbeard finally retreated. Now as a valued member of the Trap Team, Ka-Boom uses his Red Hot Traptanium Cannon to blast evil in the broadsides!

Skylanders[]
Ka-Boom was a member of the Trap Masters that captured and imprisoned various Villains including the notroius Doom Raiders until Kaos destroyed the Cloud Cracker Prison, witch sent the Trap Masters as well as some Traps to Earth. In Skylanders: Trap Team, Ka-Boom and the rest of the Trap Masters returned to Skylands so that they could recapture the freed Villains with the aid of the Core Skylanders and the Minis.
Ka-Boom appeared in Skylanders: Lost Islands.
Ka-Boom also appeared in Skylanders: Ring of Heroes, where he gains an Awakened Form.
Ka-Boom may also be playable character in Skylanders: SuperChargers, Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing and Skylanders: Imaginators, where he would help the SuperChargers, the Senseis and the Imaginators in their respected adventures.
Skylanders Academy[]
Ka-Boom made his first cartoon appearance in the episode Skylanders Unit!, where he was seen roaming the academy. He was later seen acting as a bouncer for a party for the upcomming Skylander Games. Ka-Boom was later seen being frozen by a spell and was believed to have been unfrozen afterwards.
