Jak, real name being Mar, is one of the main protagonist's in the Jak and Daxter series. In the series he originally had control over the four types of Eco, but later could control all forms of it.

History

Jak and Daxter

Jak was the child of Damos, under the name of Mar but was later protected by a small group of individuals and later an older version of himself. He was later sent to the past with Samos Hegai.

Afterwords he grew up in Sand Over Village, along with Daxter until he and Daxter went to an island and saw two people talking to an army of lurkers, only so that Jack throw a preciser bomb at a lurker that was spying on them and accidentally bumped Daxter into a pool or Dark Eco and turned him into an ottsile. In Jak and daxter: The Precurser Legercy, Both Jak and Daxter was lectured by the Green Eco Sage known as Samos Hegai, then aided the Villagers so that they could obtain a Powercell or two until they where able to ride on Keira's hoverbike. They would later visit a temple where they have to defeat a Mutant Plant and later take a ride on Keirra's hoverbike to visit the next villege where the two would have to help the villegers their two and fight off a large Lurker. Both Jak and Daxter then went to another hut where the Dark Eco Sage's known as Gol and Miya where seen trying to talk down Jak, Daxter, Kaira and Seemos. This left Jak and Daxter to go and help more villegers for powercells until they saw that Seemos was captured by Gol and Miya and so decided to rescue him, as well as the three other Eco Sage's, then fight against Gol and Miya in their precursor mech. Jak then used White Eco to defeat the two villains, only to see a giant gate that will use all of the powercells they have collected to work.

Jack, Daxter, Keira and Seemos then went to the future after they used the rift gate, only for Jak to be kiddnapped by the Krimzon Gaurd.

In Daxter, Jak has been seen a few times inprisoned by the Krimzon Gaurds still until Daxter went to find him.

In Jak II: Renagade, Jak was rescued by Daxter after two years with Jak speaking his first words as "I'm ganna kill Praxis!" and turning into Dark Jak for a short time. Jak later changed clothes and both he as well as Daxter went to escape from the prison, only to meet an old man known as Kor as well as a young child only to turn back into Dark Jak to fight off the Krimzon Gaurds then went to look for a character known as Torn who helps run the underground. Jak and Daxter then helped Torn with missions he gave the two, even went to help a character known as Krew who gave the two some missions of his own. Where he met up with someone known as Sig to take on some of Krew's tasks and later went to spy on Barron Praxis, only to later fight against him. Jak contnued to work for Krew until he sent some of his goons to blow up an old statue. Jak than went to the tumb of Mar and took on all of its challanges until Baron Praxis stole the precurser egg. Jak later went to do some work for a mechanic, who turned out to be Keria, at the race track and win various races, a bit afterwards Jak went to race against Erol twice, with the second time leading to Erol flying into Dark Eco tanks. Jak would later continue to fight against the Krimzon Gaurds as well as the new KG Death Bots, only to later fight against Krew and left him to die from an explosion. Jak later saw Kor and Baron Praxis, only for Kor to murder Praxis and left, this left Jak to take back the precurser egg. Jak than went to fight against Metal Kor and later sent his younger self and a younger version of the Green Eco Sage back in time.

After the death of Metal Kor, Heaven City went into chaos with the Metal Heads going off to fight against the residents and the Krimzon Gaurds were reformed into the New Krimzon Gaurds. Jak was also sent into banishment.

In Jak 3, Jak, along with Daxter and Pecker were dent to the desert, only to pass out and was sent to Spargus City after being found thanks to the beacon that Ashelin Praxis gave him. Jak was later sent into the arena to fight, this caused him to use his dark powers and won the tourniment. Jak later went to look for some Kangarats for a local known as Kleiver and was later given a red buggy. Jak continued his work for the Outcasts, once went to fight against the looters with Ashelin and later went the monks temple, where he was given the ability to turn into Light Jak and went into the Heaven City catacombs, only to later meet Semous and Keria again. Jak and Daxter than went back to the city to help the Torn head to the next area. A bit after fighting against the Metal Heads, Jak went fearther into Heaven City until he went to revisit the resistance and helped as much as he could until he had to go back to the desert to help the wastelanders. Jak later went to fight against the Dark Makers and asked for the help of Deimous. After diemous died, Jak realized that he was his dad and later went to race to reach the Precursers against Count Veger, only for the Precusers to turn Veger into one of them and sent Jak to the Dark Makers ship to fight against Erol and destroy one of the Dark Makers' ships. Jak also saw the Precursers leave the planet.

In Jak X: Combat Racer, Jak as seen rescueing Daxter from some folks in a bar and was later seen in Krew's memorial, only to be poisoned and was tricked to race for Krew's team. Jak often won various races and even defeated Mizo, only to drink the cure a bit afterwards.

While most fans do not consider it canon, in Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, Jak was seen with Daxter and Keira, flying around until they were attack by Pirates with Jak losing his Dark abilities and later went to repair their ship. The three were later welcomed by the Dark Warriors and later headed off once again, only to fight against the pirates once again. Jak later teamed up with the pirates and went to rescue a Dark Eco Sage known as Tym. Jak went back to the city of Dark Warriors to fight against them and later went to fight and defeat a large Dark Warrior and later went off once again.

It is believed that Jak continued going on adventures with Daxter a bit after these events, although some think that Jak went back in time to creat Heaven City.

Ratchet & Clank

Jak has appeared in Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, also known as Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked and Loaded and just Ratchet & Clank 2, as both he and Daxter where seen in a poster.

a skin of Jak back from The Precuser Legercy appears in Ratchet Deadlock, also known as Ratchet Gladiators. Where he will replace Ratchet in battle but not the cut-seens.

PlayStation Move Heroes

Both Jak and Daxter were summoned with Sly Cooper, Bentley, Ratchet and Clank to go through some compations by Lunk and Gleeber. Although the heroes stopped the two villains and freed a race of aliens they all went back to their own dimensions to continue their adventures.

Both Jak and Daxter were on a search for a new form of Eco and so they headed to fight off anyone who stood in their way. They eventually saw Ratchet and Clank, who Daxter mistakes for someone with two heads, Jak then decided to teach both Ratchet and Clank some respect after Clank called Daxter a 'weasel creature', the two then went to face off against Polygon Man and his three Polygonal All-Stars afterwords where the two raged victorious. Both Jak and Daxter then went home with a new power going through their hovercar.

Both Jak and Daxter also appear in PlayStation All-Stars Island.
