Jack the Monkey is a recurring character in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

History[]

Pirates of the Caribbean[]

Jack the Monkey way first seen in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, where he is often seen on Captain Hector Barbossa's shoulder. Jack would often roam the Black Pearl and at one point scared Elizabeth Swann, he also took a medallion from Captain Jack Sparrow and gave it to Barbossa. After Barbossa captured William Turner Jr., Jack went to scare Elizabeth again, only to be kicked off the Black Pearl, this alerted the Crew of the Black Pearl, who than went to chase Elizabeth. After all of the Pirates turned back to normal, Jack took one of the medallians again, turning into a cursed monkey once again.
