The Imakandi are redeemed antagonists in the Samurai Jack series.
History[]
Samurai Jack[]
The Imakandi were natual hunters that went to look and capture prey.
In the episode Jack and the Hunters, Aku asked the Imakandi for help to capture Samurai Jack, they aggreed although asked for nothing in return. They found a way to head to Earth through some sort of ritraul and went to look for Samurai Jack only to easily capture him. After one of them mentioned Aku, Jack fought back and later ran and tried to hide from them. The Imakandi chased down the Samurai until they were all on a rooth, where the bowman shot an arrow to the Samurai, who cought it and was later bitten by it, being a type of snake. After enjoying the hunt, the Imakandi decided to not give Jack to Aku, but instead freed him and presumably headed home and gave Jack the message to run free.
While some fans may not consider it canon, in the video game Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, The Imakandi was seen in Aku's City once again ready to hunt down Jack, although he gave up on chasing him after he proved his freedom once again.
It is assumed that nothing notable happened to the Imakandi after Aku's death in the past.
