Hex is a minor antagonist in the 2016 Ben 10 series.

History

Ben 10

Hex was a powerful warlock that often created monsters to live a long lifespan on Earth.

He first appeared in the episode Freaky Gwen Ben, where he was at a yardsale looking for a book of magic spells. He later fought against Ben Tennyson, Gwen Tennyson and Max Tennyson until he switched the minds of both Gwen and Ben in hopes to look for the magic book in peace. He was later terrorizing a salesman and fought against the Tennysons again, only be defeated and was later arested for harming a hilbilly.

Hex made a cameo in the episode Riding the Storm Out, where he was riding a broomstick.

Hex also appeared in the episode Brief Career of Lucky Girl, where he went to a cosplay convention to look for a magic wound, only to be tricked by Gwen Tennyson into thinking that she became a mage and summoned zombies, only to flee from the zombies. not knowing that they were also cosplayers.

In the episode Story, Bored, Hex went to an author meeting to take a book from I.J. Growling and so used the book to turn into a serpent. Hex later went to fight against Ben Tennyson until the magic worn off, Gwen later turned Hex into a rodent and later left.

In the episode Screamcatcher, Hex went to an icecream paler to fight against Ben, only to use a crystal to bring the both of them into a dream realm. There the two had a battle with their abilities in the dream realm, only for Ben to win the battle and Hex was trapped doing some deskwork, although he possibly escaped at some point.

In the episode Creature Feature, Hex went to look for a seal where he would later summon a creature from a movie screen and later went to look for the creature. Hex later went to attack the Tennyson, only to fail and Ben went to send him to the creature to feed him. Hex than destroyed the monster and went after Ben, only to let him go and leave.

Hex made a cameo appearance in the episode Half-Sies, where he was seen in prison Maurice, Sydney and Tim Buktu.

In the episode Double Hex, Hex was seen fighting both Ben and Gwen, only to later split himself in two. The two Hex's later went to fight against Ben and Gwen, only to end up disagreeing with eachother in battle and turned back into one. The Prime Hex later went to fight against the two again, only to later leave.

In the episode Show Don't Tell, Hex was seen near some geezers to brainwash the torests to fight against Ben, however this Ben found a way to free the torests and defeat Hex.

In the episode Them's Fightin' Words!, Hex went to fight against Ben in a corn field with a flute that brought back ghost farmers. However, Hex failed and had the ghosts turn on him.

In the episode The Greatest Lake, Hex went to a lake to use his magic to summon water minions. He also went to fight against the Tennysons but lost and left.

In the episode It's Story Time, Hex was seen at a library to look for an artifact, only to later fight against the Tennyson once again and possibly later left after not gaining what he was looking for.

In the episode The Hex Factor, Hex saw Steam Symthe do a card trick and asked how he did it and so went to a magic convention, thinking that it was a wizards gathering. He went to do some tricks for the club members to impress Shasta Fay and Scottie Fang, although after seeing Max, he felt like he was being played and went to cause some chaos at the show. He went to fight against Heatblast, only to be defeated with the help of Gwen and sent back to prison.

In the episode Ben 10,010, a version of Hex known as General Hex was seen in a possible future, where he was seen helping President Gwen fight against the alien army known as the Xerge and brought both Humungoraptor and Ben 10,000 to help. He was later seen with President Gwen, Sergeant Smythe and Future Animo to plan the restoration after the Xerge's defeat.

In the episode Ben Gen 10, Hex went to fight against Ben Tennyson once again, only to leave. After seeing Rex Salazar try to 'cure' Cannonbolt, only to see the Omnitrix to glitch and turn some of the residents in America into Cannonbolt, Diamondhead, Four Arms, Grey Matter, Heatblast, Wildvine, Overflow, Stinkfly, XLR8, Rath, Slapback, Shock Rock, Jetray and Humungousaur. Hex used his magic to control the minds of most of the glitched transformations and fought against Ben, Rex, Bobo Haha and Agent Six, while sending his soldiers to fight against the Providance Agents. Although after Rex fixed the Omnitrix, his army turned back to normal and he was arrested again.

While most fan may not consider in canon, in the video game Ben 10: Power Trip, Hex went to use his powers on a town and went to fight against both Ben Tennyson and Kevin Levin. He may have also asked for the help of Lord Decibel.
