The Heavy is one of the playable characters in the Team Fortress series.

History[]

Team Fortress[]

The Mikhale originally and his family escaped the Russian government, only to hide in the frozen wastland.

The Heavy first appeared in Team Fortress 2, where he and eight other mercenaries were hired by both Redmand Mann and Blutarch Mann to fight in the Gravel Wars.

In the webcomic A Visual History, Heavy, Scout and Soldier went to get their weapons repaired at a nearby shop and got new weapons as well.

In the video Meet the Heavy, Heavy Weapons Guy was telling his interviewer about his gun that he named 'Sasha' and claimed that people can outsmart him, but they cannot outsmart a bullet. Heavy would often inspect his gun, only to show footage of Heavy in battle fighting against the Blu Team.

In Meet the Scout, a BLU Heavy was seen eating his sandvich, only to later fight against a Scout, the Scout was able to defeat the Heavy.

In Meet the Medic, Heavy was seen on the Medic's surgery table, where the the two were having a laugh and Medic replaced Heavy's heart for an Uber-charged heart. Both Heavy and Medic later went to fight against an army of BLU Soldiers and won.

In Meet the Soldier, a BLU Heavy was seen taunting at a wall, only for Soldier to blow him up. The Heavy's Head was later used as a part of Soldier's head collection.

In Meet the Pyro, Heavy, along with Scout and Spy were discussing why they do not like or even fear the Pyro. A BLU Heavy also died by the Hands of the Pyro.

In Meet the Demoman, a BLU Heavy, Medic and Soldier went to chase the Demoman, only to fall for his sticky trap.

In Meet the Sniper, the Sniper went to head shot a BLU Heavy as well as accidentally taking down a BLU Demoman.

In Meet the Spy, Heavy, along with Soldier and Spy went to see if the briefcase was still their, only to hear about the Spy talk about his RED counterpart. the Heavy and Soldier were later murdered by the RED Spy.

In Meet the Sandvich, Heavy was seen going into a fridge to grab a sandvich to eat, while watching the BLU Team fall in battle.

In the webcomic Meet the Director, the Heavy was shown talking about his gun to a director who originally wanted to hear about his past life. Heavy, along with the rest of the mercenaries was later seen discussing with the Administrator about the photos that they got in the mail.

In the webcomic Bombinomicon, Heavy was seen insulting a child, only to later give the child money after he began to cry. Heavy and Scout later went to fight against Monoculus.

In Expiration Date, Heavy was seen driving Sniper's caravan back to RED Base, where both the Engineer and Medic noted that the bread was gaining tumors, while he was eating his sandvich. Heavy was later seen where Spy was trying to make the group spend what they fought was the last three days of their lived the best way they could until Scout ruined it. Heavy was later seen in the lobby with Demoman, Pyro and Sniper. Heavy was later seen asking the Medic to Ubercharge him to fight against a Giant Bread Monster and after the Giant Bread Monster was defeated, Heavy possibly went back to what he was doing before the weekend.

In the webcomic The Showdown, Heavy went to meet the Administrator by giving her guard dogs some sandviches and sent them to fight her bodyguards as well as later seeing Miss Pauling. Heavy later went to ask the Administrator for new weapons, only to see the Pyro appear first, Heavy asked the Pyro if he could have the new weapons first but Pyro broke Heavy's lighter. This caused the Heavy vs. Pyro subwar, unfortunately Heavy lost.

In the webcomic A Fate Worse Than Chess, Heavy and the rest of the Mercenaries were fired from defending the Gravel Pits from each other and was rehired by Saxton Hale to fight against the Machines.

In Mann vs. Machine, a RED Heavy went with Scout and the Engineer to team up with BLU Soldier, Demoman and Medic to fight against the Machines.

In the webcomic Shadow Boxers, Heavy, along with the rest of the team went to discuss their next defense against the Machines, however everyone later went home after hearing that Solder infiltrated Grey Mann's factory. After seeing Soldier showing Miss Pauling his robot disguise, he also went with the two to spy on the Machine and Grey Mann, only to later leave after seeing the Mecha-Engineer.

In the webcomic Death of a Salesbot, Heavy, along with the rest of the team went were discussion how the wealth they were getting from destroying the robots were making them feel a bit down and later went to fight more of the Machines, only to notes that they left metal crates behind. Heavy also saw a futuristic Engineer and a severed Pyro head, only to later see Soldier opening the crate.

In the webcomic Gargoyles & Gravel, Heavy was seen playing a board game with Miss Pauling, Scout and Soldier, only to notice Merasmus at the door. After being fed up with playing the tabletop game, Heavy went to accept Merasmus' challenge with the rest of the mercenaries.

In the webcomic Unhappy Returns, after Grey Mann took ownership of Mann Co., Heavy went back to his homeland to visit his mother.

In the webcomic A Cold Day in Hell, after seeing Soldier, Scout and Pyro fighting against some bears, Heavy went to fight against the mother of the bears. He later went with the three back to his mother's home, only to apologize to his sisters for bringing home more bear meat. Both his sisters and former teammates convinced him to return to fight against Grey Mann. and so Everyone left Russia.

In the webcomic Catch-Up, Heavy was seen where Saxton Hale was discussing with the readers about what has happened in the world of Team Fortress.

In the webcomic Blood in the Water, Heavy and Scout went to Australia to look for some more Astrailium, only to meet Saxton Hale and Maggy where the four teamed up.

The TFC Spy disguised himself as the TF2 Heavy in the webcomic Old Wounds to get information from Miss Pauling and the TF2 Mercs.

In the webcomic The Naked and the Dead, both Heavy and Scout went to join up with the rest of the team, his sister Zhanna and Miss Pauling to fight against the Machines and the Team Fortress Classic Mercenaries. Saxton Hale later brought the team their weapons and jumped down with Maggy and the pilot to help fight against the Machines. Heavy later went to fight against the TFC Heavy, only to go in a rage after he shot the Medic. After seeing Medic come back from the dead, this pleased Heavy and Heavy was seen with the rest of the group during the death of the TFC Heavy.

Poker Night: the Inventory[]

Heavy is one of the five players of the Poker Night the Inventory, where he, Max from Sam & Max, Strong Bad from Home Star Runner, Tycho Brahe from Penny Arcade and the player play a game of Poker.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed[]

Heavy, Spy and Pyro appear as PC exclusive racers in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, where Heavy would drive around a vehicle based off of Sasha, his minigun.

  • Heavy is regarded as the mascot or at least the main protagonist in the Team Fortress series.
  • Heavy names his miniguns, often ending the name with the letter a, possibly as homage to his sisters.
