The Giants were the first group of Skylanders that exested as eight warriors grouped up to defeat the iron rule of the Arkyans and later vanished without a trace.
The Giants were mentioned in a Story Scroll as the Elder Elementals in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
In Skylanders: Giants, The Giants returned to aid the Core Skylanders in a new adventure where Kaos came back to Skylands and is hoping to resurrect the Arkeyan Army.
The Giants were playable characters in the now discontinued Skylanders: Universe, where they roam Skylands and find treasures.
They also appear in Skylanders: Cloud Patrol, where they have to operate a caturepolt to fight against some sheep.
The Giants appear in Skylanders: Battlegrounds, to fight against various enemies.
Some of the Giants appear in Skylanders: Battlecast, where they will fight against various enemies in a card-based stratergy game.
Some of the Giants also appear in Skylanders: Ring of Heroes, where they will gain Awakened Forms.
The Giants may also appear in Skylanders: SWAP-Force, Skylanders: Trap Team, Skylanders: SuperChargers, Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing and Skylanders: Imaginators, where they would help some of the other Skylander teams in their respected adventures.

The Giants were mentioned by Spyro in the episode Skylanders Unit!, with both the hammer of Crusher and the bottle of Ninjini also making a cameo appearances.
