The Fat Bandits first appeared in Agroba in Kingdom Hearts, where they fought with other forms of Heartless such as Bandits against Sora, Donald, Goofy and Aladdin. The Fat Bandits later appeared in other worlds to do the same thing.
A version of the Fat Bandits appear in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, where they appear in a version of Agroba to fight gainst Sora and Riku as they go through that floor in Castle Oblivion.
The Fat Bandits appear once again in Kingdom Hearts II, where they once again appear around Agroba to fight against Sora, Donald, Goofy and Aladdin, with a counterpart known as Fortuneteller. They will do the same in other worlds as well.
A version of the Fat Bandits also appear in Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded, as they will fight against Data Sora with the other forms of Data Heartless.
