Exodia the Forbidden One is a recurring monster in the Yu-Gi-Oh! series.

Season Zero[]
Exodia the Forbidden One was used by Dark Yuugi to defeat Seto Kaiba in Kaiba's Death-T Challanges.
Daul Monsters[]
Exodia the Forbidden One was a powerful monster that was used Shimon Muran. Due to how powerful this monster was he was turned into five seperate monsters, the other four being: Left Arm of the Forbidden One, Right Arm of the Forbidden One, Left Leg of the Forbidden One and Right Leg of the Forbidden One.
In the episode The Dark One Cometh, Part 2, Exodia was summoned by Muran to fight against Zork, only to lose in the battle.
A thousoned years later, Maximillion Pegasis created trading cards based off of Exodia and his other peaces.
Exodia made his first appearance in the epsode The Heart of the Cards, where Yami Yugi summoned him, whitch made Seto Kaiba lose the deul.
In the episode Journey to Deulist Kingdom, Weevile Underwood stole the Exdia cards from Yugi Muto and through them in the ocean. This lead Joey Wheeler to go overboard and save at least two of them.
Exodia was seen in the episode Stalked by the Rare Hunters, where a Rare Hunter known as Seeker used more then one version of him to win a deul against Joey Wheeler. This lead to the Rare Hunter to steal the Red Eyes B. Dragon.
In the episode Yugi vs The Rare Hunter, Part 1, The Rare Hunter Seeker went to deul against Yugi Muto with his exodia cards, however he could not draw the right monsters.
The episode Yugi vs The Rare Hunter, Part 2, left off were the last episode began, with Seeker using Exodia's Head as a shield, hoping to look for the right peaces to summon the entire Forbidden One, only for Yami Yugi to use his trap to destroy all of Exodia's Heads and won the deul with one of his monsters. Yami Yugi later destroyed all of the Exodia cards in Seeker's deck.
Exodia made a reappearance in the episode Burying the Past, Part 1, where he was being used as sacrufices by Gozaburo Kaiba to summon an undead version known as Exodia Necross. Gozaburo later went to use this monster to fight agianst Seto Kaiba.
The episode Burying the Past, Part 2, left off when the prevous episode began, with Gozaburo Kaiba wising Exodia Necross against Seto Kainba in battle. However Seto used a spell card to remove some of the peaces of the original Exodia from play, letting his Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon to Destroy Exodia Necross and winning the game. This allowed Seto and the rest of the protagonists to escape the diginatal realm.

Exodia the Forbidden One made a flashback appearance in the episode Taken by the Storm, Part 1, where Solomon Muto showed Jaiden Yuki, Tyranno Hassleberry and Syrus Truesdale the spot where Yami Yugi fought against a Rare Hunter known as Hunter.
Exodia the Forbidden One was mentioned hand had a cameo in the episode Breaking of the Sacred Seal, where Yubel was going to use him to win a daul against Adrian Gecko. The Daul however was not finished.
At some point, Yubel gave Adrian the Exodia the Forbidden One cards and turned his hand to look live one of hers as a token of friendship.
In the episode The Forbidden Ritual, Part 1, Adrian went to Exodia's prison and so dauled against Aster Phoenix and his Destiny Heroes in hopes to use Exodia's powers.
The episode The Forbidden Ritaul, Part 2 begins where the last episode left off, although now went to use his childhood friend, Echo as a sacrofice for Exodia the Forbidden One. Both Adrian and Aster continued to daul, but Adrian summoned Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord to fight against the Destiny Heroes and sent the Exodia peaces to the Graveyard to make Alistar lose the daul. Exodia was also seen obsorbing Echo's life energy and was unleashed from his prison.
In the episode The Ultimate Face-Off, Part 1, Adrian used the powers of Exoida and Exodius in his daul against Yubel, now possessing Jesse Anderson. Yubel also summoned Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder and Raviel, Lord of Phantasms and used their fused form Armityle the Chaos Phantasm.

Yusei Fudo mentioned Exodia in the episode Clash of the Dragons, Part 1, comparing him to one of the Earthbound Immortals, namely Ccapac Apu.
