Ents are sentient tree-like beings, often seen in the woods and forests.
History[]
The Lord of the Rings[]
The Ents first appeared in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, where they went to help Merry Brandybuck and Pippin Took head back to their friends, only to see Saruman destroy the woods. Because of this, the Ents went to fight against the Orc army and locked Saruman in his tower.
The Ents returned in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, where they told the Fellowship of the Ring that they were gonig to keep an eye on Saruman and went to help them for a bit.
