The Engineer, real name Dell Conerger, is a playable character in the Team Fortress series.

History

Team Fortress

Dell Conerger use to look up to the TFC Engnieer, possably being a father figure. He later went to study in collages to gain a few PHD's.

In Team Fortress 2, the Engnieer and eight other merceneries where hired by both Redmond Mann and Blutarch Mann to fight in the Gravel Wars.

A severed Engnieer appears in Meet the Soldier, where Soldier was telling them about his latest battle.

An Engnieer made an appearance in Meet the Heavy, where the Engnieer was creating a Sentry to fight against the RED Team.

In Meet the Engnieer, the Engnieer was seen playing the gitar near a campfire, where his Sentries were firing at the BLU Team. He also claims that he solves problems.

In Meet the Demoman, an Engnieer created a Level 3 Sentry, only for the Demoman to destroy it.

In Meet the Pyro, the Pyro had a vision of a young Engnieer and Spy dancer and riding on a unicorn.

In Experation Date, After the Merceneries went back home, both Engineer and Medic discovered that bread was gaining tumors and so told the rest of the team that they might have three days to live. The Engineer later went to Spy's Bucket talk and later left to help Medic study the bread and tumors. A bit afterwards the two went to tell the rest of the team that they were not getting tumors and it was just bread mutating due to the teleporters and after hering that Soldier was teleporting bread for three days. The team went to fight against a Gaint Bread Monster. The Engnieer went back to his work a bit afterwards.

in the webcomic Loose Canon, the Engnieer was brought in to meet Blutarch Mann to help his life-extension machine last longer. Ater BLutarch gave Dell his grandad's old bluprints and notes, this lead to the Engnieer to create new weapons for himself and possably for his team.

In the webcomic True Meaning, the Engineer was reading to Pyro a book about Astraiun Christmas. The two later saw a crash landing and was given new weapons.

In the webcomic A Fate Worse than Chess, The Engnieer the Engnieer was fired from Mann Co., only to be rehired to fight against the Machines.

In Mann vs. Machines, the RED Engnieer went with Scout and Heavy, only to team up with a BLU Demoman, Soldier and Medic to fight against the Machines.

In the webcomic Blood in the Water, the Engnieer was seen with the rest of the Merceneries, planning the defence against the Machines, only to leave after Soldier told everyone that he disguised himself as a robot to spy on Grey Mann.

In the webcomic Scream Fortress Gargoryles & Gravel, both the Engnieer and Medic was experimenting on a criminal brain and a pumpking and put it on the porge. the Engnieer later joined the team to fight against Merasmus and hims minions.

In the webcomic The Naked and the Dead, the Engnieer was seen trying to help the Administer live longer, only see her use what was left.
