Ectonurites are a species of ghost-like aliens in the Ben 10 series.

History

Ben 10

Ectonurites were originally minions of Zs'Skayr and went to take on all of the Anur System up until Zs'Skayr died due to an unknown cause.

The Ectonurite race was first seen in the episode Permanent Retirement, where Ben Tennyson turned into Ghostfreak to explore the town that Max Tennyson and Gwen Tennyson went to visit their aunt lives in, only to turn back after fighting off against and alien parasite.

The Ectonurite returns in the episode Hunted, where Ben turned into Ghostreak again to fight against free Bounty Hunters, only to loose and turned back.

The Ectonurtie returned in the episode Kevin 11, where Ben turned into Ghostreak to do into a restricted area of a hotel to play a new video game, only to turn back after a while of playing.

In the episode Last Laught, Ben turned into Ghostfreak to fight against and scare Zombozo so that he could bring his cousin back.

In the episode Secrets, after Vilgax tampered with the Omnitrix, this caused by turn change into all of the Aliens he unlocked, this included Ghostfreak to fight against him.

Ghostfreak makes a cameo appearance in the episode The Big Tick, where Ben turned into him in hopes to destroy a large parasite, but failed.

In the episode Ghostfreaked Out, Ben turned into Ghostfreak to fight against the three Circus Freaks that use to work for Zombozo, only for Zs'Skayr to take control over him and was unleashed from the Omnitrix. Zs'Skayr later went to hire thehelp of the Circus Freak to help him take control over Ben, only to die by his hands.

In the episode The Return, Ben saw Dr. Viktor bring back Zs'Skayr.

In the episode Be Afraid of the Dark, Zs'Skayr went to bring Dr. Viktor and the Mummy to space to fight against Ben Tennyson, only to lose and was destroyed by Benviktor. After Ben, Gwen and Max returned to Earth, Ghostfreak seemed to have returned to the Omnitrix.

While most fans do not consider it cannon, in the video game Ben 10: Protector of Earth, Zs'Skayr took possession of Hex to bring resedents from the Anur System to Earth in hopes to take it over. He was defeated by Ben once again.

In the episode From Hedorium to Eternity, Zs'Skayr went to enslave some of the residents in Bellwood to bring his Ectonurite minions to Earth. They Ectonurite minions and Zs'Skayr later went back home after being defeated by Ben, Gwen and their friends.

In the episode Ghost Town, after Vilgax freed Zs'Skayr from his prison, Zs'Skayr went to take over Vilgax's homeworld and turned the residents into Ectonurites, he later went to fight against Vilgax, Ben, Gwen and Kevin Levin, only for Ben to turn into Ghostfreak, leading to Zs'Skayr to possess him. After fighting against Vilgax, Gwen and Kevin, Ben somehow found a way to turn back to normal and trapped Zs'Sayr in the Omnitrix once again, this lead to Vilgax's people to turn back to normal.

Zs'Skayr made a cameo appearance in the episode Primus.

While most fans do not consider it cannon, Zs'Skayr and his Ectonurite minions appear in the video game Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks, where Ben went to fight against them when he went to the Anur System to look for a dwarf star and destroy it so that Vilgax could not use it.

In the episode The Ultimate sacrifice, Ben turned into Ghostfreak in hopes to take possession of the escaped Ultimate Aliens, only to fail and escape from them. He turned back to normal a bit later.

Ghostfreak appears in the video game Ben 10: Galactic Racing.

In the episode Mystery, Incorpeal, Ben turned into Ghostfreak to fight against and defeat Micheal Morningstar, only to turn back a bit later. This, in turn brought Zs'Skayr back from Ledger Domain.

In the episode Bengeance is Mine, Ben turned into Ghostfreak to fight against and defeat Psyphon, only to turn back to normal a bit later.

Zs'Skayr later went to bring back Dr. Viktor and went back to the Anur System in the episode Rad Monster Party, the Anur System residents, some of witch being Ectonurites went to chase Ben away, thinking that he was a monster. Zs'Skayr later went to fight again Ben Tennyson, only for him and his minions to later leave to work on a personal project.

In the episode Charmed, I'm Sure, Zs'Skayr and his minions went to work on a machine, he also went to intoduce his two nieces to his minions, being Zs'iza and Zs'oise. Zs'Skayr later saw Charmcaster, who took he ruin back from him.

In the episode The Vampire Strikes Back, Zs'Skayr brought back Lord Transyl, who he used to control the Anur Transyl residents and sent them to fight against Ben, who at the time became Whampire to took his minions away from him. After Ben turned into Atomix, Viktor, Kuphulu and Crüjo defeated Lord Transyl and defeated Zs'Skayr once again, this freed the Anur Transyl residents.

In the episode And Than There Were None, an evil version of Ben known as Bad Ben turned into Ghostfreak to scare another version of Ben known as No Watch Ben.

In the episode Charm School, Ben turned into Ghostfreak to help Gwen fight against Charmcaster, only to turn back to normal a bit later.

In the episode Vreedlemania, Ben turned into Ghostfreak to fight possess Ma Vreedle, only to leave a bit later and turned back to normal.

In the episode Malgax Attacks, Ben turned into Ghostfreak to help the Galvins fight against Vilgax's drones, only to turn back to normal a bit later.

The Ectonurites made their later appearance in the original continuity in the episode A New Dawn, where Ben turned into Ghostfreak to help George Washington to fight against a Zombie. Ghostfreak later appeared where, Ben went to hold a universe and fired it back on Maltruant.

While in another timeline, in Ben 10: Versus the Universe: The Movie, an Ectonurite Prisoner that Ben Tennyson called Grossfreak appeared in hopes to steal the Omnitrix, only for Azmuth to tell him to back off.
