E-123 Omega was created by Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik as the last and possably the ultimate of the E-100 Series sub-group of Badniks, only to be locked up in a closet.
E-123 Omega made his first appearace in Sonic Heroes, where he would fight against Shadow the Hedgehog, only for Rouge the Bat to make the three team up and so they did. The three would fight against varioud Egg Pawns and Badniks as well as rival teams such as Team Sonic, Team Rose and the Chaotix, only to team up with them afterwards to fight against Metal Sonic.
E-123 Omega was mentioned in Sonic Battle.
E-123 Omega would also appear in Shadow the Hedgehog, where he would team up with Shadow on his occasional missions.

E-123 Omega made a cameo appearance in Sonic Generations, seen on billboards in Speed Highway and spotted in the Trophy room.
E-123 Omega also appears in Sonic Runners, Sonic Runners Adventure and Sonic Forces: Speed Battle, where he would go through a set of races.
In Sonic Forces, after Omega, Rouge and Shadow went on a mission and took down Infinate, Omega was shut down for some reason. This caused a bizzare acting Miles "Tails" Prower to try and repair him. A bit afters Omega went to fight against the Replicas.
Omega also appears in Sonic Team Racing and Sonic Racing, where he would race against the various characters.
