Drobot is a playable character in the Skylanders series. In the series he is a part of the Tech Element.
Biography[]
Dragons are smart, but none so much as Drobot. He was born in the highest reaches of Skylands, where dragons spent all their time competing in aerial battles. But Drobot was more interested in taking things apart to see how they worked. While exploring one day, he came upon some mysterious technology, which he used to assemble a robotic suit. Features include laser beams that shoot from his eyes, flight enhancement technology, a vocal synthesizer that gives him a deep booming voice, and the ability to shoot spinning gears. With such power - more than most other dragons - Drobot joined the Skylanders to help protect the residents of Skylands.

During the Events of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, Drobot along with all of the other Core Skylanders fought Kaos and his minions until one of those minions destroyed the Core of Light, leading Drobot and all of the other Core Skylanders to be banished to Earth where new Portal Masters brought them back to Skylands to defeat Kaos and restore the Core of Light to what it was.
Drobot gained new abilities in Skylanders: Giants, while helping the Giants to prevent Kaos from trying to reawaken the Arkeyan army. He also has a counterpart known as LightCore Drobot.
In the now discontinued Skylanders: Universe, Drobot as well as all of the other Skylanders that appeared in Spyro's Adventure and Giants are playable characters that roam around Skylands and find treasures.
In Skylanders: Cloud Patrol, Drobot as well as all of the other Skylanders from Spyro's Adventure, Giants and SWAP-Force are playable characters.
Drobot was given a counterpart in Skylanders: Trap Team,a Mini known as Drobit.
Drobot may also appear in Skylanders: SWAP-Force, Skylanders: SuperChargers, Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing and Skylanders: Imaginators, where he would help those various Skylander teams in their respected adventures.
