Drill Sergeant is a playable character in the Skylanders series, in said series he is a part of the Tech Element.
Biography[]
Like many Arkeyan artifacts, Drill Sergeant was buried for centuries - a long forgotten remnant of an ancient powerful civilization. It was only a chance collision with a burrowing Terrafin that led to his systems firing up again. By Arkeyan custom, Drill Sergeant was then obligated to become Terrafin's servant. This didn't sit well with the dirt shark, so his first order as master was for Drill Sergeant to not serve him at all... a command he continues to follow zealously to this day.

Skylanders[]
Drill Sergeant was one of the Core Skylanders that protected the Core of Light from Kaos and his minions in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, until one of his minion's destroyed it and sent the Skylanders to Earth. This lead the new Portal Masters to bring the Skylanders back to Skylands in hopes of rebuilding the Core of Light as well as defeat Kaos and his minions.
Drill Sergeant gained new abilities in Skylanders: Giants, while aiding the Giants in their adventure to prevent Kaos from obtaining the Iron Fist of Arkus.
Drill Sergeant was one of the playable characters that appeared in the now discontinued Skylanders: Universe, roaming Skylands and finding treasures.
He also appears in Skylanders: Cloud Patrol.
Drill Sergeant may also appear in Skylanders: SWAP-Force, Skylanders: Trap Team, Skylanders: SuperChargers, Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing and Skylanders: Imaginators, where he would help those various Skylander teams in their respected adventures.
