Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik is the main antagonist in the Sonic video game series. While he does not use magic, he have been seen powering his machines with the Chaos Emeralds and have tried to used mythacle deities for his own gain.
History[]
Sonic[]
Dr. Ivo Robotnik was looking for six of the Chaos Emeralds as well as turning creatures into Badniks in Sonic the Hedgehog, while fighting against Sonic the Hedgehog as many times as he could.
In Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Dr. Robotnik went to look for the seventh Chaos Emerald, while once again fighting against Sonic and now his new ally known as Miles "Tails" Prower.
Dr. Robotnik went to trick Knuckles the Echidna to help him fight against Sonic and Tails, while he went to look for the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic 3.
In Sonic & Knuckles, Dr. Robotnik went to steal the Master Emerald, however this enraged Knuckles and so lead to the doctor and his Badniks to fight against Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.
In Sonic CD, Dr. Robotnik created a machine known as Metal Sonic and went to robotasize a world known as Little Planet, and sent to Badniks to fight against both Sonic and Amy Rose, while also looking for the time stones. The Doctor however, failed in this.
In Sonic Chaos, Dr. Robotnik went to fight against Sonic and Tails with his Badniks once more.
In Sonic Spinball, Dr. Robotnik and his Badniks went to fight against Sonic once again.
Dr. Robotnik also appears in Tails and the Music Maker.
In Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble, Dr. Robotnik hired both Knuckles and Fang the Sniper to fight against Sonic and tails.
Dr. Robotnik went to race against his enemies in Sonic Drift and Sonic Drift 2.
In Knuckles' Chaotix, Dr. Robotnik went to fight against Knuckles and Team Chaotix with his Badniks and Metal Sonic.
In Sonic Labyrinth, went to fight against Sonic once again.
In Sonic the Fighters, Dr. Robotnik went to set up a fighting compatition for the Chaos Emeralds and would later fight against the winner for their Emeralds.
In Sonic 3D Blast and Sonic Blast, Dr. Robotnik went to fight against Sonic again with his Badniks.
Dr. Robotnik appears in Sonic 's Schoolhouse, possably teaching others.
In Sonic R, Dr. Robotnik went to race against, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Metal Sonic, Mecha Knuckles and Tails Doll. possably to look for the Chaos Emeralds.
In Sonic 4: Episode I, Dr. Robotnik and his Badniks went to fight against Sonic again.
In Sonic 4: Episode II, Dr. Robotnik and his Badniks went to fight against both Sonic and Tails in their adventures.
Dr. Robotnik later went to study ancient religions and so summoned Chaos. He also appears in Sonic Adventure, where he went to fight against Sonic and Tails once again, giving him the insulting nickname Dr. Eggman. Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik also tricked Knuckles once again and took the Chaos Emeralds from Sonic, Tails and Knuckles and gave them to Chaos. Dr. Eggman also created the E-100 Series to become the crew for his new Egg Carrier, often sending E-102 Gamma on various missions and turned the other members into war-formed versions of themselves. Dr. Eggman later went to fight against Tails and Sonic, only to be defeated on both occasiouns. Being humiliated by his two defeats, Eggman was later betrayed by Chaos and so went to his second Egg Carrier in hopes to fight against Chaos. the doctor also saw Sonic fight against Chaos and later left.
Dr. Eggman went to reserch his granddad, Gerald Robotnik, old notes and so later woke up Shadow the Hedgehog in hopes to make him one of his minions. In Sonic Adventure 2, Dr. Eggman and Shadow also teamed up with Rouge the Bat to fight against Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and G.U.N., just so that he could reach the old reserch facility known as the Ark and so went to destroy a large chunk of the Moon. Dr. Eggman also went to imprison Sonic and sent him in a tube through space to blow him up and later went to fight against Tails. Dr. Eggman had a discussion with Tails about how Gerald was his insperation and left a bit later.
Dr. Eggman also appears in Sonic Shuffle and Sonic Pinball.
In Sonic Advance, Dr. Eggman went to fight against Sonic once again with his Badniks.
In Sonic Advance 2, Dr. Eggman and his Badniks went to fight against Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy as well as their new ally Cream the Rabbit after he captured her mother, Vanilla the Rabbit.
In Sonic Advance 3, Dr. Eggman and his Badniks went to fight against Sonic and his friends once again.
In Sonic Heroes, Dr. Eggman hired the Team Chaotix and tested them in hopes to free himself. After a finding out, the team did went to attack him due to being scamed. Dr. Eggman later mentioned that he was growing afraid of his old creation, Metal Sonic. After Metal Sonic was defeated, Eggman went to walk away, only to run away from Team Chaotix.
In Shadow the Hedgehog, after the Black Arms invaded the Earth, Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik sent his Egg Pawns to fight against both G.U.N. and the Black Arms. The doctor would later both team up with and at times fight against Shadow. Dr. Eggman would also encourge Shadow when he went to fight against Black Doom.
In Sonic Battle, Dr. Eggman created new forms of his old Badniks to fight against Sonic and his friends.
In Sonic Rush, Dr. Eggman went to the Sol Dimension with his Badniks and so went to fight against both Sonic and Blaze the Cat.
In Sonic Riders, Dr. Eggman hired the Babylon Rougues, being: Jet the Hawk, Storm the Albatross and Wave the Swallow, to look for the lost Babylonion treasures and so went to make race compatation for hoverboard users.
In Sonic 06, Dr. Ivo "Eggman Robotnik, now in a diffrent appearance went to send an army of robots to fight against Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Rouge, E-123 Omega, Blaze and Silver the Hedgehog as well as trying to kidnap Princess Elise III. He later appears to help the heroes to fight against Solaris.
Dr. Eggman was mentioned in Sonic and the Secret Rings.
Dr. Eggman appears in Sonic Rivals, where he would team up with his desendant, Dr. Eggman Nega to control the present and future along with their combined Badniks and also went to fight against Sonic and his friends.
Dr. Eggman went to team up with Dr. Eggman Nega to fight against Sonic and his friends in Sonic Rivals 2.
In Sonic Rush Adventure, Dr. Eggman went to invade the Sol Dimension once again with his Badniks and so went to fight against Sonic and Blaze once more.
Dr. Eggman appears in Sonic Free Riders, Dr. Eggman went to ally with the Babylon Rouges once again to creat another compatition for hoverboards.
In Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, Dr. Eggman went to fight against Sonic and his friends with his Badniks as well as fighting against the Nocturnus Clan.
In Sonic Unleashed, Dr. Eggman went to fight against Sonic in the classic manner, only to expose Sonic to the Dark Gaia energy, turning him into a hedgehog-wolf hybrid. Dr. Eggman later created a new Badnik known as Orbot and sent his Badniks to fight against Sonic and Dark Gaia's Minions. A bit later Dr. Eggman went to fight against Sonic, only to be pushed aside by Dark Gaia.
Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik made a cameo appearacne in the fanart gallery in Sonic and the Black Knight.
In Sonic Colors, Dr. Eggman made a intergalactic theme-park while also creating a new Badnik known as Cubot and enslaved an alien race known as the Wisp. Both he and his Badniks went to fight against Sonic until his theme-park was ruined.
At some point Dr. Eggman discovered a scource of time-space enegy and so went to investigate it. In Sonic Generations, Dr. Eggman went to fight against Sonic, and a younger Sonic the Hedgehog, only to be kidnapped by the time-scape vortex. It turned out that Dr. Eggman decided to team up with a younder version of himself, back when he was known as Dr. Ivo Robotnik to control the Time-Eater and gone to fight against the two Sonics. This however failed, leaving the two docters in limbo.
Due to an unknown reason, Dr. Eggman escaped the limbo and went back to chase down Sonic and Tails in Sonic Lost World. The Doctor later teamed up with the Deadly Six in hopes to enslave them, only for Sonic to prevent this, this lead to Dr. Eggman to team up with both Sonic and Tails to fight against the Deadly Six. The Docter than went to fight against the two after the Deadly Six were defeated.
Dr. Eggman was also seen inSonic Jump, Sonic Dash, Sonic Runners, Sonic Runners Adventure and made a cameo appearance in both Sonic Jump Fever and Sonic Force: Speed Battle.
In Sonic Forces, Dr. Eggman hired a jackle known as Infinate to help him fight against Sonic and his friends as well as creat clones of their past allies being known as the Replicas. He, once again fails in his plans.
Dr. Eggman also appears in Team Sonic Racing, where he would race against his foes.
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games[]
Dr. Eggman appears in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, where would go off to compete in the various challanges.
Super Smash Bros.[]
Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, as both a stiker to help boost the powers and abilities of a fighter as well as a trophy.
The trophy of Dr. Eggman also appears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: World of Light, Dr. Eggman appears as a spirit where he would possess Roy Koopa to fight against the combatants. After being defeated, he would help the fighters in their adventures.
Sega All-Stars[]
Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik appears in Saga Superstars Tennis, where he would do a bit of tennis with other Sega characters.
Dr. Eggman also appears in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, where he would race against various characters.
