Double is one of the main antagonists in the Skullgirls series.

Double's origins are currently unknown, although she is described as being Quenn Lamia's shadow, ruling in ancient times until Neferu destroyed it. Now Double serves as a servant to a religion known as The Trinity, where she will go off to look for woman to turn into the Skullgirl.
In an elf-like form, Double turned Selene Continello into the Skullgirl. She also mentioned that Nancy Renoir often visited her church.
In Skullgirls, Double gave the power of the Skull Heart to Marie and turned her into the new Skullgirl as well as teamed up with Valentine for a bit. She however went to collect as many warriors as she could to feed into the Skull Heart and even betraying Marie.
Double also appears in almost every other fighters arcade mode, either to tricked them to do her work, such is the case with Beowulf and Robo-Fortune or to get in their way, such as the case with Big Band and Peacock.
