Countdown is a playable character in the Skylanders series. In the series he is a part of the Tech Element.

Biography

Countdown was discovered by a group of Yetis who were snowboarding one particularly chilly morning when they came across a big bomb encased in ice. After bringing it back to their cabin, they were shocked when it actually came to life. No one, not even Countdown himself, has any memory of where he came from or how he ended up frozen in the mountains. Since becoming a Skylander, Master Eon has been graciously trying to help piece together fragments of his past. But this has proven difficult, as Countdown loses some of his memory every time he explodes - which happens a lot. In the meantime, Countdown has enjoyed working with Eon and fighting alongside the Skylanders to defend their world against evil - even though he occasionally forgets what he is doing.

History

Skylanders

Countdown first appeared in Skylanders: SWAP-Force, where he aided the SWAP-Force to prevent Kaos and his minions from trying to 'Evilize' the Ancient Elementals. He also has a pair of counterparts known as LightCore Countdown and Kickoff Countdown.

He also appears in the book known as Stump Smash Crosses the Bone Dragon.

Countdown also appears in Skylanders: Cloud Patrol where he would oparate a canon to fire at some sheep.

He also appears in Skylanders: Lost Islands

He appears in Skylanders: Battlecast through a card-based strategy game against some Villains.

Countdown may also appear in Skylanders: Trap Team, Skylanders: SuperChargers, Skylanders: SuperChargers Racing and Skylanders: Imaginators, where he would help those various Skylander teams in their respected adventures.
